Heyaaah Hiveeers, Welcome to my #LakwatsaniIntoy Diary 040 | The Enchanted Wonder Falls of Alegria Cebu Philippines. How are you guys, hoping you have a good day this time because For today's blog I will bring you to one magical place in Cebu Philippines that you should know.

Wonder Falls is one of the underrated tourist destinations of Cebu. It is located exactly in barangay Compostela Alegria Cebu, Philippines which most travelers and tourists didn't yet discover. Why underrated?. If you know Kawasan Falls of Cebu, the popularity of this Kawasan Falls shaded the name of a nearby tourist attraction of the area that everyone didn't notice. The Kawasan Falls is only 9km away from Wonder Falls. That's why more travelers prefer to explore the popular Kawasan Falls than those never heard of one.

But, If you are an adventurous Traveler and want to discover more gems of the Philipines that never heard especially in Alegria Cebu, Wonder Falls is one the perfect destination you should try. This kind of wonder is located in the well-preserved rainforest of Alegria. It has clear shimmering blue water that makes it rare and feels like an enchanting tourist destination. It also has a nice rock formation around surrounded by big trees and vines. For sure, you will be surprised and amazed if you visit this place just like what we are.

We explore the Wonder Falls last May 22, 2022, together with my cousin @island.girl and two of my colleagues (Chell and David) who are having fun exploring the island Of Cebu. They became my travel buddies this year, especially during Summer Season.

Did you know this is one of the most tiring yet satisfying travel adventures I've experienced here in Cebu?. Why? We Travel from Cebu City to Alegria for four hours then Explore the forest and discover this amazing Wonder Falls for 3 hours then after resting for 30 minutes we head back to Cebu City for Four hours again just not to be absent from work on the next day. Yes, it is one of the quick memorable travel adventures I've done.

It is a sudden trip we decided on a day before we explore this Wonder Falls. That's why didn't prepare or booked for our accommodation, food, and travel gear. So we decided Just to go home to the City after exploring the place and also for the reason that on the next day we need to be present at work.

How to reach Wonder Falls

If you are in Cebu City you will travel for four hours to arrive at the Tourism Registration area located in the proper of Alegria Cebu. You may ride a private car or public bus from the South bus Terminal bound for Oslob Cebu that will pass by in the town of Alegria, The Bus fare cost 7$ only back and forth, and Drops on the Tourism Center area for registration. After registering your name will ride a motorcycle going up in the mountain then drop on an access road where you will walk for 10 minutes heading to Wonder Falls.

The road for motorcycles going up the mountain is narrowly inclined and one side of it is a cliff. The fear going up is superb, just pray hard that no accident will happen okay 😅? Salute to the drivers who bring us safely to the top of the mountain.

By the way, we booked a Travel tour Company who will assist and guide us on this adventure. Also, Tourism didn't allow travelers to explore the Falls without a Local Tour guide from their place who is trained and registered from their office. So we get a Tour Package worth 15.5$ each person with an Inclusion of;

• Tour Guide
• Life Vest and Helmet
• Hiking shoes
• transportation of Motorcycle
• Tourism Fee
• Instant Photographer 😅

One advantage from our end of getting a Travel tour, all of the things needed for the exploration are ready we dont need to find and lookup for the requirements before starting the tour. All are managed well and prepared. It is best to have a travel tour if you have a short time to prepare for adventure as we have. It will manage your time accordingly.

Discovering and exploring this wonder in a short period of time marked and tattooed in my life adventure. I will never forget this because it is the first kind of wonder like this I've visited in my Travel journey and It becomes part of me.
