The cenotes over there are absolutely beautiful.....but I found it's better to try and find the ones off the beaten path. They're way less busy and usually tend to be even cooler than the ones on the main drag. We went to one on a jungle tour where the opening was maybe a 5x5 hole which you had to descend using an old rope ladder. We were the only ones in it at the time and the water was so crystal clear you could see everything at the bottom from anywhere in the cenote. Wish we had some over here on the west side.

Yeah! I’m planning to go to those cenotes as well, do you remember where it was exactly?
The best one, the one that I mentioned, was in Tulum. On the road leaving the main drag in Tulum heading towards one of the ruins, there is a jungle tour on the right hand side. Probably can find it on a pamphlet or just ask around for the jungle tour with the zipline over the lake and the cenote. Best of luck man!
