Visiting To' Rico Bar (ENG/SPA)

Hello friends of this wonderful community, today I come to tell you about a place that I met some time ago by pure chance. It all started after the celebration of my birthday. As a Cuban custom, the birthday is celebrated, no matter how, but it is celebrated. On this occasion, the idea was simple, to look for the best place in the area and enjoy a good pizza. Several friends recommended us to go to a place that had recently opened and was dedicated to this type of speciality.

After a walk we found the recommended place, the Bar-Pizzeria To' Rico, a cosy, very nice place, despite not being one of those typical luxury restaurants that you find in the big cities, this one has its charm. When we arrived at the place we had to wait for a short time, as we were not the only ones who came to visit. When it was our turn we went in and sat down, the treatment was the best, formal, always attentive to make you and your companions feel at ease, in a calm and pleasant atmosphere.

It is worth noting that this restaurant began as a humble traditional bar, which, due to its great acceptance and excellent quality, has become one of the gastronomic references of Jagüey Grande.

The menu offers a wide variety of pizzas and spaghetti, creams, lasagna, tacos and burritos. In addition to this we have cold salad starters, tuna and shrimp cocktail, tasty bacon hors d'oeuvres, french fries and calamari over easy.

As a cold companion you will find drinks and soft drinks, both national and imported, from the favourite of all Cubans: ''La Cristal'', malted beer Cody's, to the smooth and delicious light beer ''Corona**''; in addition to its cocktail bar. For the little ones and those who prefer not to drink there are soft drinks and malts.

After the order arrived, which was not a long wait as has happened to me in other places, we had to enjoy, well, appetizing they looked, knife and fork in hand, I peck my wedge and uuummmmm!!!! Delicious!!!! One of the best I have ever eaten in my whole life!!!, I said to my partner and his gesture while tasting confirmed it.

After the meal, a good beer to conclude this wonderful experience that only happens every 365 days.

Hola amigos de esta maravillosa comunidad, hoy vengo a contarles sobre un lugar el cual conocí hace un tiempo atrás por pura casualidad. Todo comenzó tras la celebración de mi cumpleaños. Como costumbre cubana, el cumple se celebra, no importa cómo, pero se celebra. En esta ocasión, la idea era simple, buscar el mejor sitio de la zona y disfrutar de una buena pizza. Varias amistades nos recomiendan ir a un lugar que hace poco había abierto y se dedicaban a ese tipo de especialidad.

Tras un recorrido dimos con el sitio recomendado, el Bar-Pizzería To´ Rico, lugar acogedor, muy bonito, a pesar de no ser esos típicos restaurantes de lujo que te encuentras en las grandes ciudades, este tiene su encanto. Llegado al lugar nos toca esperar un corto tiempo, pues no éramos los únicos que venían a hacer la visita. Llegado nuestro turno entramos y nos sentamos, el trato de lo mejor, formalidad, siempre atentos para que usted y quienes lo acompañen se sientan a gusto, en un ambiente tranquilo y agradable.

Vale recalcar que este restaurante comenzó como un humilde bar tradicional, el cual, por su gran aceptación y excelente calidad, se ha convertido en uno de los referentes gastronómicos de Jagüey Grande.

Les cuento de su menú, esta oferta una amplia variación de pizzas y espaguetis, cremas, lasaña, tacos y burritos. Sumándole a esto contamos con los entrantes de ensalada fría, coctel de atún y camarones, los sabrosos entremeses de Bacon, las papas fritas y los calamares rebosados.

Como acompañante frío encontrarás bebidas y refrescos, tanto nacional como importado, desde la preferida por todos los cubanos: ``La Cristal´´, cerveza malteada Cody´s, hasta la suave y deliciosa cerveza clara ´´Corona´´; además de su coctelería. Para los más pequeños y los que prefieren no ingerir bebidas hay refrescos y maltas.

Tras llegado el pedido, el cual no fue una larga espera como me ha ocurrido en otros lugares, nos toca disfrutar, pues bien, apetitosas que se veían, cuchillo y tenedor en mano, pico mi cuña y uuummm!!! Deliciosooooo!!! De las mejores que he comido en toda mi vida!!!, le decía a mi pareja a lo que con su gesto mientras probaba me lo confirmaba.

Luego de la comida, su buena cervecita para así concluir esta maravillosa vivencia que solo ocurre cada 365 días.
