Afternoon of colours (ENG/SPA)

After a long period of time, the month of March is coming to an end, welcoming its good neighbour April. Because I start with this intro, the hot days are approaching on our beautiful island, which, in the absence of rain due to the dry weather, is making itself felt a little more.

As you know I have the habit of going out on a daily basis, taking snapshots and making a recollection of life around me, casual or everyday, rural or urban?

At the top of the tower the adventure begins, camera in hand and let's hit it, night is coming.

Today we met that grandfather who always asks you what time it is, is it that he lives against the clock? I don't remember his name, I only carry with me that pleasant smile that I let out when I kindly asked him to be photographed and he said to me in a mischievous voice: ...of course, even the old ladies still compliment me...

As we walk we come across the other side of the coin, the different version, the opposite story to the above mentioned. There are those who are not going anywhere, those who see how life goes by and by and are still there in the same place, with a sad and empty look, but in the company of friends, their old school stories and their good little drink of ...only they know what it is... because the good rum is already hurting them, exaggerated prices for an average salary of around 15 usd a month.

And how not to talk about Cuban colonial architecture, assimilating the baroque and neoclassical styles, where in the latter one can notice the simplicity, with predominance of the architectural over the decorative. The style comes from the Greco-Latin interpretation of its constructions assumed in Europe and then taken up again in America.

And what a nice tradition to go to the cinema one night, to a premiere or to watch your favourite movie. Unlike reading, which is a more active process, enjoying the cinema is a passive activity: it is much easier to relax, to unwind, to take a mental break. Michi and Mini are 2 very dear kittens at the moment. They were found in an abandoned box in the corner of a rubbish dump. Thankfully God put them in the way of Juan, a resident of the area, who picked them up and took them to a private animal rescue centre. Some time later they were adopted by Melisa and Dayron and are now an inseparable part of the family.
