Mysterious Forest Shot

This photograph is a kind of mystery to me. I can’t recall the exact moment or the place where it was taken. I spent quite some time thinking about it yesterday, but I’m still not sure. To be honest, I don’t remember that photo walk at all, nor what was happening back then. The only thing I know for certain is that it was taken in 2018.

At the same time, I’m aware that this is one of my favorite forest photographs. The sunlight, softly diffused by a delicate layer of mist, did an excellent job here. It’s been a long time since I last had the chance to photograph a forest in such favorable conditions. I miss moments like this. Time, fatigue, and long working hours often take that opportunity away from me.

I’m eagerly waiting for a moment in my life when I’ll be able to dedicate myself to such photographic trips on a regular basis.

There was a time when this was exactly how things were — two or three outings like this each week were the norm. Today, however, I’m at a different stage of life, and other responsibilities consume most of my time. That’s why most of the photographs I’ve been sharing recently come from my archives.
