DiscoverSingapore #03~I Went To Visit Singapore National Museum.

Hello Everyone,
Today I am back with a travel post for you. Today I went to the National Museum of Singapore as I came to Singapore for training for my job. In between this work, I am traveling a little so that I can understand Singapore better and get to know everything. That is why today I went to visit the National Museum of Singapore. The National Museum of Singapore is only 30 minutes away from where I live. That is why I went for a walk. I will show you what kind of things are in the National Museum of Singapore and what the National Museum of Singapore looks like. I hope you like it.

First, I have to buy a ticket from the National Museum. You will get two types of tickets, $24 for travelers and $18 for students, but if you are a student, you can get some discounts. Since I was a student, I bought a ticket for $18 Singapore dollars with some discounts. Then I asked them if I can take pictures here, they said you can take pictures here but you can't make any videos. Then I went to the National Museum with my ticket and entered.

Then I saw a map as soon as I entered the museum. Actually, this map was being played through a multimedia projector and it was showing how much of Singapore is in the area and some old things were being shown. This map was a map of the whole world and a lot of things were being shown inside this match.

Then I went a little further and saw a stone. This stone was very old. The people who live in this museum were telling us in detail about this stone. Actually, this stone is very old and this stone is very valuable, which is why this stone has been kept in the museum so that people can see it and know about this stone.

Then I saw a big boat in front of me but I don't know what kind of boat it was. But this boat looked very cool. This boat had lights all around and I can't tell if there was anything inside. This boat was very big and I really liked this boat. If you ever come, you should definitely take a look at it.

Then I went a little further and saw some things. These things were some stone boats and some things made of bamboo. They looked like they were made a long time ago. Keeping these things in a museum means that these things are very old and people used these things a long time ago. Because these things are very valuable, these things have been kept in the National Museum so that people can see them and learn from these things how they lived and moved.

Then in front of it I saw some spears and small stones. Looking at these spears, it seemed that long ago people used these spears to fish or do other things. Because long ago people were not as advanced as they are now, they did not have anything to use them. But the people of that time were very wise, which is why they liked to make new things. With these things or by looking at their old things, today we make new things. These small stones were, I don't know what they were for, but they were very old. Since it is in the museum, it will be a very valuable thing.

Then I went a little further and saw some clay objects. These clay objects were very old and some were broken and some were good. People used to do many kinds of things with these objects in the past. These objects are very valuable nowadays because old objects become very valuable when they are lying around. And most of the old objects are kept in museums so that people can see them and learn something from them.

Then I saw some brass objects next to it. These objects were very old. There was a brass bone and next to it this object was a stone or something else, I couldn't tell. But this brass bone looked very beautiful and it looked brand new. It didn't look like it was very old.
Untitled design_20250220_145540_0000 (1).png

Then I saw some things made of clay here. These things looked like a wheel, a bowl and something else. I couldn't figure out what it was. But they were very old and they looked very interesting. These things really remind us of a lot. These things remind us of the people who made these things before but they didn't have any advanced technology. We can learn a lot from this.

Then I saw some beaded bracelets next to it. Actually, looking at these things, it is hard to believe that these things were made by people long ago. But they had no idea about this subject. How they made them, since they loved to make new things, it probably didn't matter to them. Seeing these things of theirs, today we make new things. These beaded bracelets looked completely new and they looked interesting. I liked them a lot.

Then I went a little further and saw some broken things. There were some broken things made of clay here that I couldn't really tell what kind of things these things were. But they looked like they were made of clay and there were some bowls, glasses and other things here. Since they were made a long time ago, they were broken and I couldn't tell what they were made of and what they were made of.

Then I saw some old things inside a room. As soon as I entered here, I first saw some things made of gold. Actually, I can't tell what it is, but it looked like it was made of gold. Here are some necklaces, rings, earrings, and another thing. I can tell you what this thing is. But these are very old and very expensive. They are kept in a museum because they are old so that people can learn from them.

Then I saw some papers next to it with some writing in Arabic letters. These papers were very old and the writing was very old. It looked really interesting and I thought it was very cool. You can see how beautifully these writings were written by the people of that time.

This statue is a Javanese-style statue, the only one found during excavations in Singapore. Unfortunately, the rider's head has not yet been found. The rider sits on the saddle of a winged horse and wears a sarong around his waist, which exposes his upper body and calves. The image is made the same on both sides and stands on a base. This statue was very old. But unfortunately, the head of this statue has not been found. But the climbers are now trying to find or find the head of this statue. These things are very expensive and very old.

These objects were discovered in 1928. Each earring has a socket joint and wire hinge. The arm has a plaque of repousse work depicting the Javanese period. The banana motif is a protective symbol found at the entrance to Javanese temples from the 8th to 14th centuries. The arm also has flexible chains, some of which were already broken when discovered. A statue from West Sumatra, made in the mid-14th century, shows a king wearing a similar type of jewelry around his waist. These objects are very old and these objects are very valuable. The reason these objects are kept in museums is so that people can learn from them and understand how wise people were in the past.

In a species of hornbill found in the Malay Peninsula, the large bony crests or casques between their eyes are hard enough to be carved like ivory. They were used in Southeast Asia to make rings, earplugs and potions, where they were used to make brooches or snuff boxes. In the 13th and 14th centuries, Chinese merchants would seek hornbill casques in Temasek or Palembang in Sumatra. The 14th-century Chinese traveler Wang Dayuan noted that among the indigenous products of Banjul were very fine hornbill casques. He was familiar with the area around Fort Canning Hill. This is the rarest item I have ever seen because it is so old and the fact that it still exists today is so fascinating and surprising.

That's it for today!I appreciate your time and attention. At the end of this post, you can comment and let me know how you liked my post and if you have any questions, I will try to answer them inshaAllah. I hope you like it. See you soon..

Hello! I hope you are doing well. Congratulations on your enthusiasm for Hive, thanks for joining us and I hope you are having fun creating content :-) I have come across a few of your posts over the past few days and would like to leave you some recommendations to make them even better and potentially more valuable. Here at Hive everyone has their own style, but I think these recommendations might be useful to you on your way finding it :)

  • Don't upload so many repeated photos. Too many photos that show the same thing or just a little different don't add any value to the post. Is best to capture different scenes each time, with sharp, neat photos, not blurry or poorly lit.

  • Writing is very important in blogs. Try to write as well as possible. Don't make too many sentences that say the same thing, or use the same word dozens of times in a single paragraph. I understand that it is difficult to write at a high level, but you could try to make the blog more reader-friendly. In each sentence say something different, not like "I went to the nice beach because it's nice and I like the nice beach, that's why I went to this nice beach." More words don't make the post better either, only the quality of the text does, no matter if it has many or few words.

  • Avoid spam. Try not to make more than one post every 24 hours in total. More blogs don't always mean more votes and it's a waste of energy for you. By spam I mean a post an hour ago, another 6 hours ago, another 14 hours ago, another 20 hours ago, and so on. It seems that since you have not had any votes with the first, you try with a different post and another and another. It's better to make one good post per day, than many bad posts on the same day.

I want to tell you this because I see that you have a lot of potential and I like that you enjoy the Hive blog as I do and everyone here does, and of course, I would like you to get rewarded for your work.

I wish you much success with your blog and I hope you can continue to show us interesting content.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me :)

Cheers ❤️!

It is very late to reply to you but your words will be very useful in my life. Because from now on, whenever I post, I will remember your words and the quality of my posts will be better. Thank you very much for pointing out some mistakes in my post. If you had not caught these mistakes, the quality of my post would have been worse. I repeat, please forgive me for replying late.
