Discover Singapore #07 ~ I Went To Explore Historical Place Singapore Museum..
Hello Everyone,
Today I am back with a New Travel Post. Today's post is about the Singapore Museum. Earlier, I had posted three posts about the Singapore Museum. Today is my fourth post about the Singapore Museum. In today's post, I will show you some more historical things in the museum that you might like. The reason I went to Singapore was that I would work there and I had training, which is why I went there and did a little sightseeing. I have shared them with you again. If you ever go to Singapore, you can visit this museum. I hope you will like it a lot.
Then I am in front. There is a big bell. This big bell is usually used by the Chinese. If you have seen it, you will see that this kind of bell is played in Chinese festivals. This is also a kind of method in many Chinese customs. Then I see some weapons with it. Where there were many types of weapons. These were very old, these are the ones that we can see are very big. Then after I went a little further, I see some pictures where some people are grouped together and taking pictures. These pictures are very old and were taken with the cameras that were there at that time. Along with that, there were some things kept here. There was a garland inside and it looked like there were tree roots and some other things. These are quite old. Next to it, there were some gold coins kept in a nearby glass. These were used by people a long time ago. These are very expensive. I liked them a lot. Then I am in front of them. Since this museum is very big, I cannot finish the entire post of this museum. I still have many pictures that I have to show you.
Then I saw some stone symbols here. I don't know what they were but they were quite old and made of stone. They looked like they had some writing on them but I couldn't understand them as I couldn't read Chinese. Then there was a notebook next to it with some writing on it. The writing was in a very scrawl so I couldn't understand it. Then I saw some more papers there with various designs drawn on them I don't know what they were but they were very old. Then I saw a big paper in front of it with some writing in small letters but I couldn't understand them and there were some symbols drawn on this paper with paint. I think it might be a map of Singapore that was made a long time ago. It was really amazing
The man in this statue is an anonymous elderly Chinese gentleman. The statue was given to Singapore by the sculptor as a gift. The bust depicts a wealthy and honest Chinese merchant. The statue, made of local granite, has Chinese and English inscriptions. This man was the Assistant Protector of the Chinese in Singapore from 1921 to 1931. He did extensive research on Chinese secret services and amassed a large collection of secret service artifacts, most of which were seized during raids. A selection of items from his collection are displayed in the room on the right. I really like this statue. There were some other pictures here that were quite fulfilling and it probably contributed a lot to Singapore. Here are some very old pictures of Singapore showing some houses that were quite old when Singapore was not that developed. Then next to it was a brass dome inside a nearby glass which was actually brass. I don't know if it was gold but it looked really cool. Then I went a little further and saw some paintings there which were really amazing.
Then I went a little further and there was a strange thing there, there were some stones with cereal. I didn't know what the stones were and what they were used for, but these stones were very old. Then I looked at them and kept moving forward. In front of me, there were some gold things inside a nearby glass. I can't tell what they were and I first saw them there. Then I saw a rickshaw-like thing inside a large hall. This is actually a Chinese vehicle. It is used by the Chinese. A long time ago, when there were not so advanced vehicles like today, the Chinese used it. Then a little further ahead, some videos were being shown through multimedia. These videos were from a very old time and some stories were being shown there in Singapore.
Then I went a little further and there were some papers and some necklaces and earrings with them. They were very old. It was hard to see them because there was something rusting on them. It seemed like a little color had come off here. But the necklace was really unique. I liked it a lot. Along with that, I saw some more papers here that were very old and they might have some stories written in Singapore but I don't know. Along with that, I saw another book with something written in Chinese.
Then, after we had seen all the things in the room we were in, we left and went to another room where some videos were being shown through multimedia. This video was about the difference between old-time Singapore and modern-day Singapore. Everything was being shown through the video. Then there was a book that was written about some of the history of Singapore. Then I went a little further forward where another big screen was showing what modern-day Singapore is really like. Singapore is really beautiful and fascinating at the moment. Then in front of me, I saw a bottle of water inside a nearby glass and it could be a name. Actually, I don't know what it is, but it was very old.
Then we go a little further where there was a piece of wood inside a work and there was writing about this wood but this writing was in a cursive handwriting so I couldn't understand what was written here then there were some pictures where there was an old TV and some people sitting watching TV these are some pictures from a long time ago along with it on a paper it was written one boy and one girl is enough this means that since Singapore is a small country if we take more boys and girls here the population will increase that is why this poster was put up that one boy and one girl is enough then here we see some old kitchen items in Singapore
Then we came out of this room and then we kept moving forward. There were some more things in front of us. First, I saw some things inside a nearby room, which had a coil, a candle and some other things inside that were probably very old and that's why they were kept in a museum. Then a video was playing here where many women were working in a textile factory. These videos are very old, maybe from a long time ago when Singapore was slowly developing. Then I moved a little further forward where I saw a very old TV. This TV was two versions before the new TVs came out. These TVs are really amazing. I saw these TVs a long time ago and then I saw them in Singapore.
Then I saw an iron next to it. This iron is not as advanced as it is today. It is a very old iron. People used to use this type of iron a long time ago, but at that time, they were very expensive. Then I saw a very old radio. Radio is very rarely used, but it was not as advanced as it is today. At that time, there was not much television, so people used to listen to news and music through the radio. Then I can give you an amazing thing here, which is the oldest television that was made a long time ago. It is really amazing. Then there was another thing. Actually, I don't know what it is, but it seemed to me that it was a special thing in Singapore.
Then I see a uniform here which is a National Service Uniform. Those who were employed in government work were given this uniform. This uniform means that they are helping the government a lot and are with the government in all aspects. Then I see some old money here. There were many types of money here and with it there were some other papers. Then here was another thing that the first Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew, used. This thing was made of rosewood. This thing is called the Rostrum. Lee Kuan Yew, a refugee, kept this thing in the National Museum of Singapore.
That's it for today!I appreciate your time and attention. At the end of this post, you can comment and let me know how you liked my post and if you have any questions, I will try to answer them inshaAllah. I hope you like it. See you soon..
