Cocktail Tables

I made this cocktail tables couple of years ago and I'll love to share my journey around the project with you all. I got a call if I could make a cocktail table real quick for an upcoming event. This cocktail design was suppose to be made of some slice log of wood with a metal stand instead of the regular cocktail tables.

So I began my journey and process by sourcing for log of wood to purchase at a big wood village also known to be a sawmill. After a long search for perfect log of wood and found one. I hired a wood cutter to help me slice the wood to preferred sizes.

After the slicing into perfect size. I worked on the smoothing, treatment and finishing of the wood with wood lacquer using a spraying process. Sorry i couldn't take some process pics of the stage because there was alot of work to do.

After the wood process, I also needed to visit metal store preferably I'll call it a metal village to get some thick mm of metal sheet to be used for the stand of the cocktail table. Then I cut them into round and square shapes. The round for the base that will be sitting on the floor and the square for the base that will be holding the wooden top.

I welded and sprayed up the the metal stand with a black matt paint. I chose black matt because i was going to make it remaining cool and not the shining effect of black gloss.

Here my cocktail tables are ready for delivery. So I got them rapped up with a transparent nylon for a professional delivery.

And here i have the opportunity to see my cocktail tables at the event because i was there live at the event. I was the one behind the camera for this picture.

THANK YOU FOR DROPPING BY AND THANKS I. ADVANCE FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND ENGAGEMENT ON THIS POST.
