A Letter to my Beloved by Odushe Ifeoluwa Daniel

Hello Hivers,

I'll love to share with you all a sculpture interiors concept i made. It's a chess table concept titled "A letter to my beloved". The idea behind the concept is that the rose on the table served as the letter or message that was left for this beloveth. With the perspective that rose made with metal can never wither. With the help of Ai i was able to generate a poem for this beautiful piece of mine. If you have a better poem or lines kindly share with me in the comment section.

A Letter To My Beloved

Upon a table, stark and still,
A chess piece stands, against its will
Of simple wood or polished bone,
This metal knight, uniquely known.

Beside it, glinting, sharp, and true,
A rose of metal, painted red,
Its fervent passion clearly bred.
A love declared, forever keen.

No fragile petals, soft and deep,
Will ever fade, or droop, or sleep.
No morning dew will bid it weep,
This metal bloom, its promise keep.

"A Letter to My Beloved," reads the name,
A silent message, whispered flame.
For in this rose, so finely wrought,
A love unending has been caught.

The seasons turn, the years may fly,
But this strong blossom will not die.
Its beauty fixed, beyond decay,
A love that conquers every day.

So stands the piece, the rose so bold,
A story in their forms untold.
Of lasting passion, forged in fire,
A metal love, that won't retire.

OWNERSHIP PROOF

The stages above where the clay modelling stages. Alot of effort was put into make a perfect roundness.

This was the demoulding stage. Here i was breaking of f cement mould off the resin cast. This stage hurt so much because i intended to keep the mould for myself hoping i could make a metal piece of the same mould. But i have to let it go so i can access my resin cast.

And here my idea is live! This idea has been lingering on my head for couple of months and I'm glad i finally brought it to life. It doesn't just exist on my head or mind any more. That the joy of every Artist!
