To make Didi's wedding card

First of all, I welcome everyone to today's new blog. A few days ago I went to some shops in Kolkata to make a wedding card for my friend's sister. Today I will share some photographs taken from there, what I did there, what I experienced.

Marriage card shops were very close to Sealda station. Me, a friend of mine and that friend's cousin were the three of us responsible for making a friend's sister's wedding card. On the day we three go to make wedding cards, we got down by train at Sealda station and after walking for some time we arrived in front of these shops.

Amherst Street is a short walk from Sealdah Station along Mahatma Gandhi Road. Coming here and moving forward across the tram line, there are rows of wedding card shops on one side of the road.
Although it is mainly a famous place for making wedding cards, it is also used to print invitations for various events such as Annaprashan, Parar Ganesh Puja, the last Bengali Durga Puja. It is well-crowded throughout the year but the day we visited the shops were a little less crowded.
The three of us visited many shops there and got many ideas about prices. That day was the first time I saw wedding cards with various colorful designs. I was also surprised to see some expensive wedding cards that day. The shopkeeper saw our wedding cards worth up to Tk 10,000 that day which was at least a bit of a surprise for me. Anyway after visiting many shops we finally managed to choose a wedding card within our budget at one shop. We arrived with their order of 200 pieces of wedding cards that day.
