It's been a long time since I posted a Wednesday Walk on Hive. It's not that I haven't been walking, but rather that I haven't found anything worth sharing. While browsing through my gallery, I found photos from a walk my wife and I took at sunset last weekend, and these are definitely worth sharing.

When I first came to this city and saw this view, I absolutely loved it. I still love it, but not as much as I used to because the city isn't cleaning the river here, and the algae are about to take over everything. Still, I think it's a breathtaking sunset photo. It's one of the most beautiful ones I've taken so far. So, which do you think is more beautiful, the horizontal photo or the vertical one? I took both horizontal and vertical shots to compare.

As I walked, I took photos from different spots, but I thought the first ones I shared were the most beautiful. Because the redness of the sky was most evident in them, which is probably the most important detail in a sunset photo. Because the sky reflects most vividly in the water when it's red.

People were trying to fish around or sitting on camping chairs enjoying the sunset. If I hadn't been walking, I would definitely have been enjoying the sunset. Fishing has never been an activity I've enjoyed. When I was a child, my uncles always went fishing, and I went with them a few times, but I never found it enjoyable. Waiting for hours and not catching any fish is very frustrating.

I mentioned earlier that the most beautiful photos were the first ones I took, but now I'll show you a few photos that are just as beautiful. Look at the redness of the sky. It looks like these photos were taken earlier, but no, they were taken later. I guess it has something to do with the angle you shoot from, but I think it's just a coincidence. My wife noticed how beautiful the sky was and took these two photos.

Later, I took two photos too, but they weren't as good as hers. We were sitting opposite each other, and I had to turn towards her to take this photo. Maybe that's why her photos turned out better, but ultimately, she deserves the credit for noticing the sky!

After walking so much, we deserved a dessert. There's a place here that has very tasty künefe. So we came here and ordered künefe. It came with kaymak (clotted cream). It's a bit expensive, but it was worth it. We don't eat there all the time anyway. Since it was a syrupy dessert, we couldn't finish it; almost half of it was left. We had it packed and took it home.

Hive'da bir Wednesday Walk gönderisi yayınlamayalı uzun zaman oldu. Bu yürüyüş yapmadığım için değil ama paylaşmaya değer pek bir şey bulmadığım içindi. Galerime göz atarken geçen hafta sonu eşimle günbatımında yaptığımız yürüyüşe dair fotoğraflar buldum ve bunlar kesinlikle paylaşmaya değer.

Bu şehre ilk geldiğimde ve bu manzarayı gördüğümde kesinlikle çok sevmiştim. Hala da seviyorum ama eskisi kadar değil çünkü belediye buradaki nehri temizlemiyor ve yosunlar her yeri sarmak üzere. Yine de hayran olunası bir günbatımı fotoğrafı olduğunu düşünüyorum. Bugüne kadar çektiklerim arasında en güzellerinden biri. Peki sizce yatay olan fotoğraf mı daha güzel dikey olan mı? Karşılaştırmak için hem yatay hem dikey çektim.

Yürüyüş yaptıkça farklı yerlerden de çektim ama en güzelinin ilk paylaştığım fotoğraflar olduğunu düşünüyordum. Çünkü gökyüzünün kızıllığı en çok onlarda belli oluyordu ki bir günbatımı fotoğrafındaki en önemli detay budur herhalde. Çünkü suya en çok gökyüzü kızılken yansır.

İnsanlar etrafta balık tutmaya çalışıyordu ya da kamp sandalyelerinde oturup günbatımının tadını çıkarıyorlardı. Yürüyüş yapmıyor olsaydım mutlaka günbatımının tadını çıkarıyor olurdum. Balık tutmak bir türlü benim sevdiğim bir aktivite olmadı. Çocukluğumda özellikle amcamlar hep balık tutmaya giderdi ve ben de birkaç defa onlarla gittim ama hiç keyifli bulmadım. Saatlerce bekleyip balık tutamadığında bu çok çok sinir bozucu bir şey.

Look at the sky! Here, birds mostly fly in flocks. Watching them is very enjoyable. Sometimes they form a V shape, sometimes a W.

Yukarıda en güzel fotoğrafların ilk çektiklerim olduğunu söylemiştim ama şimdi onlar kadar güzel birkaç fotoğraf göstereceğim. Gökyüzünün kızıllığına bakın. Sanki bu fotoğraflar daha önce çekilmiş gibi görünüyor ama hayır bunlar daha sonra çekildi. Sanırım biraz da çektiğiniz açıyla ilgili ama bu bence tamamen tesadüf. Gökyüzünün bu kadar güzel olduğunu eşim fark etti ve bu iki fotoğrafı o çekti.

Daha sonra ben de iki fotoğraf çektim ama onunkiler kadar iyi olmadı. Karşılıklı oturuyorduk ve benim bu fotoğrafı çekebilmek için onun tarafına doğru dönmem gerekiyordu. Belki de bu yüzden onun çektiği fotoğraflar daha iyi olmuştur ama sonuçta gökyüzünü o fark ettiği için krediler ona!

Bu kadar yürüdükten sonra bir tatlı yemeyi hak ettik. Burada künefeleri çok lezzetli olan bir yer var. Bu yüzden oraya geldik ve künefe sipariş ettik. Yanında kaymak da vardı. Biraz pahalı bir yer ama buna değdi. Zaten her zaman orada yemiyoruz. Şerbetli tatlı olduğu için onu bitiremedik, neredeyse yarısı kaldı. Paket yaptırdık ve eve götürdük.
