I don't know how long it's been since my last post about Pamuk, but it's time for an update. For those who haven't read the other posts, Pamuk was my wife's cat, and after we got married, she became our cat. It's been exactly five months since we started living together. We've been living together since the beginning of September, and let's see how everything has changed in the last two months.

Every month we spent with Pamuk was closer than the last; she only stayed away from me for about 15 days. I don't know why, she would hide from me under chairs or under the table, but as time went on, we got past that too. I really feel like she's my cat now, and I'm not just saying that. You can see how close she is to me in the photo. Right now, she's even jealous of me over my wife 😂 even though she's known her for much longer.

Now, when I bring the camera close to her, she doesn't try to run away from me. She still doesn't like the camera, but she doesn't act hostile either. We've declared a truce on this matter.

This is the closest photo I've taken of Pamuk. It's a very close-up portrait. Every detail is amazing in this photo, and the expression on her face is like she's been caught by paparazzi. Sorry, ma'am, I'm going to share this everywhere :P

Throughout this whole process, she started licking me awake in the mornings and sleeping at my feet at night. Since I'm a calm sleeper at night, I don't kick her, and she doesn't wake up scared. I also cover her with part of the blanket so she doesn't get cold.

Another truth about cats is that they have inexplicable photos. When I don't wake up at the time she wants in the morning, for example on weekends, she can be very aggressive. I have no idea what she was looking for there. Of course, I woke up to the sound of her climbing up there, and it was scary. Fortunately, when she saw I was awake, she came into my lap and rubbed against me, asking for food.

Of course, I learned to secretly take photos of my cat. I pretend to be doing something on my phone, and while she's in my lap, I take his photo. I turned this photo into a sticker, and it became a meme between my wife and me. When we're surprised by something, we send it to each other 😂

The other day, @livinguktaiwan and I were talking about radiator beds. I tried to describe what kind of bed my cat sleeps on, but it wasn't easy. Here's a photo of my cat sleeping on her bed. It's become her favorite spot on cold winter days. This bed is stuck to the window with adhesive and hangs like a suspension bridge. The radiator directly below it heats it up so much that sometimes I hold my hands under the bed to warm them up.

This is actually a live photo, but uploading it here was really challenging. First, I struggled to transfer it from my phone to my computer as a “gif” or “video.” Then, when uploading that video here, I had to convert it to a Gif first. It was a long process, but I'm happy I managed it. Taking this photo wasn't easy at all; I had to wait a few minutes for her to walk towards me.

The bond between my cat and me has grown so strong that as soon as I come home, she can't wait to jump into my lap. Sometimes I'm amazed she can jump so high. She can jump straight from the ground to my shoulder lol. Maybe later I'll ask my wife to film her jumping into my lap.

En son Pamuk gönderimin üzerinden ne kadar geçti bilmiyorum ama bir güncelleme yapmamın zamanı geldi. Diğer gönderileri okumayanlar için Pamuk eşimin kedisiydi ve evlendikten sonra bizim kedimiz oldu. Birlikte yaşamaya başlayalı tam olarak 5 ay oldu. Eylül ayının başından beri birlikte yaşıyoruz ve son iki ayda her şey nasıl değişti bir bakalım.

Pamukla geçirdiğimiz her ay bir öncekinden daha yakındık sadece 15 gün kadar benden uzak durdu. Nedenini bilmiyorum, sandalyelerin altında ya da masanın altında benden saklanıyordu ama zaman geçtikçe bu durumu da aştık. Artık gerçekten benim kedim gibi hissediyorum ve bunu laf olsun diye söylemiyorum. Fotoğrafta bana ne kadar yakın davrandığını görebilirsiniz. Şu anda beni eşimden bile kıskanıyor XD Üstelik onu çok daha uzun süredir tanıyor.

Artık kamerayı ona yaklaştırdığım zaman benden kaçmaya çalışmıyor. Hala kameradan hoşlanmıyor ama düşman gibi de davranmıyor. Bu konuda ateşkes ilan ettik.

Pamuğun en yakından çektiğim fotoğrafı ise bu. Çok yakın bir porte fotoğrafı. Her detayı harika bir fotoğraf, yüzündeki ifade ise sanki paparazzilere yakalanmış gibi. Üzgünüm hanımefendi bunu her yerde paylaşacağım :P

Bütün bu süreç boyunca sabahları beni yalayarak uyandırmaya başladı ve geceleri ayak ucumda uyuyor. Geceleri sakin yatan biri olduğum için onu tekmelemiyorum ve korkuyla uyanmıyor. Ayrıca üşümemesi için battaniyenin bir kısmıyla üstünü örtüyorum.

Kedilerle ilgili bir diğer gerçek de açıklanamayan fotoğraflarının olması. Sabahları onun istediği saatte uyanmadığım zaman, örneğin hafta sonları çok agresif haller sergileyebiliyor. Orada ne aradığına dair en ufak bir fikrim yok. Elbette oraya tırmanma sesine uyandım ve korkutucuydu. Neyse ki uyandığımı görünce kucağıma geldi ve ona mama vermem için bana sürtündü.

Elbette, kedimin gizlice fotoğrafını çekmeyi öğrendim. Sanki telefonda bir şeyler yapıyormuş gibi yapıyorum ve o kucağımdayken fotoğrafını çekiyorum. Bu fotoğrafı bir çıkartmaya dönüştürdüm ve eşimle aramızda bir meme haline geldi. Bir şeye şaşırdığımızda birbirimize bunu gönderiyoruz 😂

Geçtiğimiz günlerde @livinguktaiwan ile kalorifer yatağı hakkında konuşmuştuk. Kedimin nasıl bir yatakta yattığını anlatmaya çalıştım ama kolay değildi. İşte kedim yatağında yatarken bir fotoğrafı. Soğuk kış günlerinde favori yeri burası oldu. Bu yatak yapışkanlarla pencereye yapıştırıldı ve bir asma köprü gibi duruyor. Tam altındaki kalorifer onu o kadar ısıtıyor ki bazen ellerimi ısıtmak için yatağın altına tutuyorum.

Bu aslında bir canlı fotoğraf ama onu buraya yüklemek gerçekten zorlayıcıydı. Aslında önce onu telefonumdan bilgisayarıma "gif" ya da "video" olarak aktarmakta zorlandım. Sonra da o videoyu buraya yüklerken önce Gif'e dönüştürmem gerekti. Uzun bir süreçti ama başardığım için mutluyum. Bu fotoğrafı çekmek hiç kolay değil, bana doğru yürümesi için birkaç dakika beklemem gerekti.

Kedimle aramızdaki bağ o kadar kuvvetlendi ki dışarıdan gelir gelmez kucağıma atlamak için can atıyor. Bazen bu kadar yükseğe zıplayabilmesine şaşırıyorum. Yerden direkt olarak omzuma kadar zıplayabiliyor lol. Belki ilerleyen süreçte eşimden benim kucağıma zıplarken bir video çekmesini isteyebilirim.
