Hello, my friends, how are you? I hope you're having a good last day. 2023 flew by, didn't it? I remember the day the year started like it was yesterday and it was a very happy day for me. I hope 2024 will be the year for all of us. My expectations for the new year are health, happiness and a good job. We will see what will happen. Now let's get back to today's topic, on the last day of the year I wanted to give you some nostalgia. Do you like old cars?

In the past @derangedvisions used to organize photo contests on Hive and he let me choose the subject of one of them. I chose cars, but I didn't enter the contest myself because my camera was bad and there were no interesting cars around. Now I'm dying to enter such a contest because my camera can do wonders now!

Do you see this monster? Doesn't it look great? I love old cars because they feel historic, their engines are really powerful and it's a pleasure to drive them.

A few weeks ago my aunt and uncle, who just got married, came to visit us in the village and he loves old cars. That's why he has a jeep like this. The biggest problem with this jeep is that one of the doors does not close. It seems like a very big problem, doesn't it? It really is! My brother-in-law says he is used to driving the car like this and he really does.

The best thing about this car is that it does a great job on the terrain, no matter the hills and mountains and since we live in the village this is perfect because I hear that some cars have a hard time going up hills lol.

My brother in law wanted to take us for a ride that day but I wasn't feeling well so I preferred to stay at home, not because I was afraid of traveling in a car with the door open. I was really sick, I would love to travel with this beast one day. I'm sure it would catch everyone's attention as it passes by.

I took photos of the car from many angles and look! This partridge is the symbol of our town, in fact there is a big statue of a partridge at the entrance of the town. I will try to take a picture of it if we pass by one day. Our district even has an off road club, I think my brother in law is the head of it XD

My brother-in-law, aunt and a few other relatives went for a ride and another car followed. This car is very, very old. I think it is a 1992 model. The first car my father bought was the same model and color as this one. These cars were very fashionable then. I cannot say the same thing about comfort. We traveled by bouncing on the seat. It was a comedy!

Eskiden @derangedvisions Hive'da fotoğraf yarışmaları düzenlerdi ve bunlardan bir tanesinin konusunu benim seçmeme izin vermişti. Ben de arabaları seçmiştim ama kameram kötü olduğu ve etrafta ilginç arabalar olmadığı için yarışmaya kendim katılmamıştım. Şimdi öyle bir yarışmaya katılmak için can atıyorum çünkü artık kameram harikalar yaratabiliyor!

Bu canavarı görüyor musunuz? Harika görünmüyor mu? Eski arabaları seviyorum çünkü tarihi hissettiriyorlar, motorları gerçekten güçlü ve onlarla yolculuk yapmak büyük bir keyif.

Birkaç hafta önce yeni evlenen halam ve eniştem köye bizi ziyarete geldiler ve eniştem eski arabalara bayılıyor. Bu yüzden böyle bir cipi var. Bu cipin en büyük problemi kapılardan bir tanesinin kapanmıyor olması. Çok büyük bir problem gibi görünüyor değil mi? Gerçekten öyle! Eniştem arabayı böyle kullanmaya alıştığını söylüyor ve gerçekten kullanıyor da.

Bu arabanın en güzel yanı dağ tepe demeden arazide harika iş çıkarması ve biz köyde yaşadığımız için bu mükemmel bir şey çünkü bazı arabaların yokuşları çıkmakta zorlandığına dair şeyler duyuyorum lol.

Eniştem o gün bizi gezmeye götürmek istedi ancak ben kendimi pek iyi hissetmiyordum bu yüzden evde kalmayı tercih ettim, kapısı açık bir arabada seyahat etmekten korktuğum için değil. Gerçekten hastaydım. Bir gün bu canavarla yolculuk yapmayı çok isterim. Geçerken herkesin dikkatini çekeceğine eminim.

Arabanın pek çok açıdan fotoğrafını çektim ve bakın! Bu keklik bizim ilçemizin sembolü, hatta ilçenin girişinde de büyük bir keklik heykeli var. Bir gün yanından geçersek fotoğrafını çekmeye çalışırım. İlçemizin bir off road kulübü bile varmış, sanırım eniştem oranın başkanı XD

Eniştem, halam ve birkaç akrabam daha gezmeye gittiler ve arkasından bir araba daha geldi. Bu araba çok çok eski. Sanırım 1992 model. Babamın ilk aldığı araba bununla aynı model ve aynı renkti. O zaman bu arabalar çok modaydı. Konfor olarak aynı şeyi söyleyemem. Adeta oturduğumuz yerde zıplayarak yolculuk yapıyorduk. Tam bir komediydi!
