So, it finally happened
Hi, guys!
Yesterday was that blogger party I've been looking forward to for weeks. I was nervous before it, but everything went great, and now I'm even more nervous about tomorrow's interview with the book's author, which I'm moderating.
I have to host this event, and then a book signing. This is my first time, so I'm anxious for everything to go smoothly and to be invited back to host such events. This is very important to me; I've been waiting for this opportunity for a long time, so it's incredibly important that everything goes well, and I've become a lifesaver for the publishing house, someone they can always call on to host these events. So I really hope everything goes well. I've been preparing for several days now, but the main preparation will be today.
I was offered this unexpectedly, but naturally I accepted because it's a great opportunity for me. So it's just super, and I'm really looking forward to the event itself.
After that, I'll have almost another week to prepare for my appearance at Book Country. I only have two events there so far, but I'm sure there will be more next year. I need to develop in this area, especially now that I'm starting to get my act together.
It's great that I'm finally starting to get invited as a presenter; I've been waiting for this for so long. And it's doubly gratifying that in the last month, I've received invitations from three publishing houses. I'm still in the process of negotiating with a fourth, but I'm still stuck, but I think something will come together there soon. They've offered to collaborate, and for now, I'm accepting all offers; I need to develop my blog as actively as possible.
So, I have big plans for the blog next year, but it's also important to get back to writing. Right now, I'm really stuck on that. But I hope to improve that in the coming weeks.
Have a great day, everyone!
