New step forward

Yesterday I received my response from the publisher, and it was negative. Of course, I'm incredibly hurt, but I'm ready to keep fighting. The feedback on the manuscript was very good. They only told me to correct one thing, and even then, I'm not sure they even understood what they wanted. They literally criticized the main feature of my work, which really should have been there, but in principle, I agree that it needs to be refined and expanded. So now I'll be finishing up my novel and looking for new betas to continue working on the manuscript, after which I'll send it off to publishers again.

So this isn't the end, it's just the beginning. And I'm confident that in the end, I'll succeed; I just need to fix my work and keep working. So I'll continue to work actively and productively, and everything will work out. After all, many authors have been rejected by publishers at first, and then everything worked out. I'm confident that I'll succeed too, because my book has enormous potential. I just need to fix a few things, and now that I can see exactly what they are, it'll be easier.

So I'm not giving up. The work will continue actively, I'll recruit new betas, and we'll keep working hard. My main beta has confirmed her support, and another one has joined. I'm sure more will join. So everything will be fine.
