Little Astro has health issues

Hi, guys!

Today (or rather yesterday) Astro began to experience a seasonal exacerbation. Every spring and autumn her back leg starts to hurt, and this is a so-so period of our life, because she cries a lot and we feel very sorry for her. It's good that this only happens twice a year, otherwise I would go crazy. Every time something hurts in my dogs, I think that it would be better if it hurt me, because at least I can tell the doctor exactly where it hurts. And my girls are very small and when they cry it literally breaks my heart.

So this morning the first thing I did was take my older dog to the vet. We had to wait in line for a bit, but overall we were accepted pretty quickly. She has a problem not only with her paw, but also with her anal glands, so we took two problems to the doctor at once.

The doctor examined the dog and said that most likely I was right and she really had a seasonal exacerbation. We were given an anti-inflammatory injection, which should alleviate her condition, and I hope that this will happen quickly. In fact, a few days ago I noticed that Astro was running much slower on the street than usual. But then I didn’t attach much importance to it, but I should have.

Now we are all at home, today the girls will not go for a walk, because the eldest needs to lie down so that her paw will calm down and stop hurting. I have a lot of work anyway, so it’s okay, we’ll sit at home for one day :)

Get well soon, Astro!

I petted my dog while reading this post. He has a funky leg that acts up sometimes, too. He sends love.
