I created a monster
Hi, guys!
So, I'm still up to my ears in my book, but they're starting to stick out, and that's at least something. So now I'll start to slowly return to reality, because I'm starting to find the strength. So today I'll take a little break and see how well I can switch back to the real world.
Yesterday I wrote a long, delicious scene with a character new to my writing. And it was so intense that now I don't even know how to live with it. Until now, my writing has somehow remained within the bounds of sensibility, but now it's moved into the realm of high-dark fantasy, where there really are only different shades of monsters, but that's what makes it so beautiful. I can't stop dreaming about when it will come out; I'm desperate to finish it, so I'll continue to work on it as actively as possible.
Right now, I'm writing disparate scenes; it will be difficult to piece them together. But that's what will happen. I'm dying to give up on this story. But working on it will be long and exhausting. It's a very complex structure and plot, and I hope I can pull it off. It's beautiful, captivating in its darkness. So let's work on it, don't give up, and push until the end. It truly will be a masterpiece.
And most importantly, I'm so engrossed in it that I can't see anything else. It's absolutely worth it. So working on it is literally a panacea for me. Let's keep going, and as actively as possible.
Today I'm going to get my stitches removed, so good health is also making progress. But there's still a lot to do, so I need to prepare for the long haul. But somehow I'll get through this.
Have a great day, everyone!
