Finally my schedule begins to work
Hi, guys!
I've tried all sorts of time management systems, but so far none have produced such great results as the baby steps system.
The idea is that I gradually add tasks to my daily schedule, using a timer. When I introduce something new, it's just for ten minutes a day at first. Then, as I get used to this time, I begin to expand it. Now, for example, I have 35 minutes of exercise a day and 40 minutes of dog walking. If I expand this to a year, I can start going to the gym and walking the dogs on a different, more interesting route. So, everything is gradual; my brain doesn't get overwhelmed by the volume of tasks.
Today I need to finish filming promo videos, so first I'll finish everything with walks, exercise, and grocery shopping, and then I'll get to work. Now it doesn't scare me anymore because I clearly understand the boundaries of my workday. I just need to do a little bit every day, and everything will move forward.
I recently added studying to my plan, and now there are only two more items left to add: music and drawing. But I think I'll get to those, too, soon.
Have a great day, everyone!
