Hi, guys!

So, I’ve finally reached the point where I have to slow down; otherwise, I’ll just go flying forward on momentum and scrape my knees. Today, I’m taking whatever time is needed to get my life in order—to pull everything together and streamline my processes—so I can work on the book calmly later, rather than spiraling into a daily panic. We’ll see if I can pull it off on the first try and if it helps at all. I hope it does.

I have a huge backlog of reading and videos to catch up on, so I need to clear those out; it’ll take some time, but that’s okay. Right now, I just need to slow down for at least a day, calm down, and focus so I can get back to a steady, normal workflow without feeling torn in a dozen directions. Working without that constant sense of being pulled apart sounds like a great idea—it would be wonderful to actually make that happen. So, I’m going to grit my teeth and spend today simply getting my work processes sorted out. Obviously, I don’t really want to do it, but it’s necessary to keep my life from falling apart, and unfortunately, I can’t put it off any longer. It’s better to just tough it out for one day now than to have to deal with the fallout later.

It’s no big deal; I’ll likely still have time in the evening to work on the text. And that will be wonderful, too. I just need to focus on the organizational side of things for a while first.

And afterwards, as a reward, I can dive right back into my favorite characters to my heart's content. I’m really looking forward to that moment.

Have a great day, everyone!
