Hoy quiero hablarles un poquito de él, de mi papá. Ese hombre que ha sido muchas cosas a la vez: protector, gruñón a veces (sí, lo admito), paciente, trabajador incansable, y hasta un poco payaso cuando quiere sacarme una sonrisa. Nunca ha sido de grandes discursos, pero con sus actos ha dicho todo lo importante. Me enseñó a no rendirme, a respetar, a ser fuerte… y también a no olvidar de dónde vengo.

Quizás nunca lea estas palabras, pero no importa. No escribo esto para que lo vea, sino para dejarlo dicho: su amor me formó, y su presencia (a su manera) sigue siendo un faro en mi vida.

Y aprovechando el día, también quiero extender esta felicitación a todos los padres que forman parte de esta hermosa comunidad de Hive. A esos papás que acompañan, que luchan, que educan con el ejemplo. A los que crían solos, a los que construyen día a día con amor, aunque estén cansados, aunque no se los digan lo suficiente.

Every time Father’s Day comes around, my heart fills with memories. Some joyful, others nostalgic… but all of them valuable.

Today I want to tell you a little about him — my dad. That man who has been so many things at once: protector, a bit grumpy sometimes (yes, I admit it), patient, a tireless worker, and even a bit of a clown when he wants to make me smile. He’s never been one for big speeches, but through his actions, he’s said everything that truly matters. He taught me not to give up, to show respect, to be strong… and also to never forget where I come from.

Maybe he’ll never read these words, but that’s okay. I’m not writing this for him to see it, but because it needs to be said: his love shaped me, and his presence (in his own way) is still a guiding light in my life.

And taking this opportunity, I also want to send a warm greeting to all the fathers who are part of this beautiful Hive community. To those dads who are present, who fight, who teach by example. To the ones raising children on their own, to those building with love every single day — even when they’re tired, even when no one tells them “thank you” enough.
