Throwback to a Birthday Food Trip!

Posting this as an extreme throwback from last July during my 3-day birthday staycation! So, after a good 'ol breakfast of peaches & cream waffle, I got ready to explore this nearby Vanilla Cafe which I saw on IG. Really thought it to be whimsically decorated, and the real deal didn't disappoint as it looked to be the only colorful establishment along a commercially bleak road.

Even the food looks great! Though I've tasted better ham & cheese sandwiches, their 'Pink Coffee' was really up my alley as it had the level of sweetness I'd love in my next-to-none coffee trips. And of course, one's trip isn't complete without a cupcake takeaway! (Loved their Vanilla Pink <3)

While the ambiance there does encourage one to stay a tad bit, I also had some writing to get done that day, so the rest of the afternoon was spent in my hotel room. But once the tummy grumbles, it's a good thing there was this quaint lil bar beside my hotel. HidN was a safe and clean spot and since it was the middle of the working week, it was also quiet, which made me enjoy my Tequila Sunrise a lot longer with my grilled tofu dish (one of the best I've tasted too!)

Would have loved to try their other family recipe dishes since the reviews I read really gave them a thumbs up, but their was only one me and I kinda lost track of time too as their was this killer shark film playing by the bar, though definitely an awesome place to hang out with some friends if you're looking for a bar that's more on the private end in this parts of Quezon City.
