What a fantastic island Favignana!!

Hi guys, I've been a bit absent these days, because I took a few days off and went to visit for the first time, an island that had been recommended to me by a very dear friend of mine, a place that had also been recommended to me by other sportsmen because it is very suitable for cycling, but unfortunately I couldn't bring my bike because I travelled by public transport and it was really difficult to travel by bike, at least unfortunately in Italy it is like that.

For the first time I managed to visit Favignana, which is the largest of the Egadi Islands and is located in the western part of Sicily, let's say as a point in front of Trapani, and in reality I had already seen some photos from my friends who had been here precisely because this place is famous for its beautiful transparent sea and these slightly rocky coves which are very spectacular.

So a few weeks ago I said to myself Why not take a trip there? Unfortunately, as I told you, I couldn't bring my bike because it was very difficult to travel by train, and I took advantage of it. Fortunately, there are many cycle-tourist itineraries here. And unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of the map that explained all the routes on the island, which are very interesting. I decided to rent an electric bike to explore the various itineraries on the island, and I can truly say that there are some truly beautiful and breathtaking views.

Here I shared some photos that I took during my stay, but it is difficult to convey the beauty of these places through a simple photo, I recommend you come and take a holiday here, among other things it was very beautiful in this period probably being a little lower season that I found few people and a good climate is quite warm, let's say not that suffocating heat that is normal in Sicily, in my opinion it is very beautiful because there is that very authentic and relaxed atmosphere, However I also arrived with the hydrofoil in about 30 minutes.

I can really say that I really liked the island, I was impressed by the colour of the water which seems truly perfect, and in the photo if you look closely you can also see the various tuff quarries where tuff was once extracted. I also managed to do a bit of snorkelling which is one of the main activities that can be done on this island, I absolutely recommend it, we'll see you in the next post, see you soon!

The way you described Favignana really made the island feel alive. The clear water, peaceful atmosphere, and stunning views look absolutely unreal. Your photos captured the beauty perfectly, especially the colors of the sea. Definitely a place that goes straight onto a travel bucket list
