Hello friends

Just a few days ago, I found the photos from the trip I took before the pandemic to the Seychelles. I still remember that it took me almost six months to plan this trip, and it was also financially demanding because I saved a lot of money to go on this 15-day trip to the island of Praslin in the Indian Ocean. I chose this place because I had been told that it was famous for its palm beaches.

I remember organizing this trip with two other friends who had already been to other islands in the Seychelles. For me, it was my first time, and I had been dreaming of going to this paradise for many years. Yes, I see it as a paradise because of its beautiful beaches and stunning sea. Those who have been following me for a while know that I always prefer the sea over the mountains. Actually, I also have some photos to share from Sardinia. I hope I have time to prepare a post about it.

Today, we'll talk about the first part of my trip. I still remember arriving at the small airport on the island and finding only one available taxi, and I never understood if it was regular or not. We had to practically reach the other side of the island because that's where we had booked our accommodation. It was a nice journey that lasted quite a while because the road took a very strange route, but the first thing that struck me were the palm trees, and there were so many of them.

Naturally, the first thing I did and the first photos I took were at the beach, a white sandy beach with absolutely stunning water, just the way I like it. I remember we stayed in a hotel recommended by a dear friend, and I have to tell the truth that we had a great time, although most of the time I spent walking on the beach or taking a swim.

By the way, one thing that struck me was that the accommodation facilities were not as intrusive as in other places I have been to, for example, in Mexico or the Caribbean. They were probably more careful in their construction. Anyway, this paradise was fantastic, an ideal place to relax, and I think I hardly ever used my phone because I completely disconnected from the world.

Here you can see some photos of the spacious and well-lit room with numerous windows. I have to say it was of a certain quality, and it was evident that it was a more expensive structure. Sometimes I prefer to spend a little extra to treat myself to that extra luxury.

When I think about it, sometimes I say it felt like being in a dream because when you desire something for so long and then you go there, I still remember that for the first few days, I didn't fully realize where I was. These kilometer-long beaches of pure sand are truly impressive.

I was also impressed by the size of the coconut palms. They were truly enormous. I think you had to be a little careful because if a coconut of that size hit you on the head, I don't think you would survive.

Anyway, thank you for taking a look at my photos. I hope you liked them, and I think I will continue with this topic in the next few days, trying to remember some of the things I did because it's been a few years. One thing I haven't forgotten is the beauty of the place. I have never found a beach like that anywhere else, but it's also the lifestyle of those places that impresses you, a very slow-paced lifestyle, completely opposite to what I practically do in Milan.

Goodbye, everyone.
