VISITING THE AMAZING LAKE ZIROU // LOUROS, GR

This Saturday I went on a trip with my man @knowhow92 and our dog Biggie and visited a beautiful place which is about a half hour from where we live. Despite that it is so close and it is a quite famous place here, I had never visited it all those years. The beautiful place that I am talking about is a magical lake called "Zirou" and it is located at Philipiada.

The whole landscape was outstanding everything seemed so perfectly matching together with no imperfections. There was a lot of vegetation around the lake as well as at the mountain across. As you can see at the panoramic photo there is coastline around the lake until some points where you can walk and also the water there is not deep at all.

This guy never loses a chance to get in and swim at freshwater such as lakes or rivers. He always enjoy playing inside water and waiting for us to throw him some woods. He seems to appreciate this place at the photo, right? 🤗

We walked at the coastline until some point to appreciate every perspective of the lake. It was quite cold at the spots that sun doesn't appear so it wasn't the perfect temperature to swim in. People at the summer months come for a swimming here cause the water is super clean, the landscape is impressive so I can't find a reason not to do it. Of course our next visit will be on a hotter month so we have the chance to live a full experience here.

What a peaceful place, how harmonic nature can be. So beautiful feelings and thoughts about this place, a true small paradise. I really love this reflect of vegetation on the top of the water, it is so stunning like a work of art. No ones art is better than natures. 🌿

We took the path to get to another spot ath the background and watch the lake from another perception.

Here is another point of view of the lake which looks cool as well. Someone local I guess has created like a little beach with umbrellas and seats made of pallets for people and kids to use the place and enjoy the lake. There was also a floating bridge plank from where propably people dive at the lake.

It was a trip that I enjoyed so much, the whole scenery was outstanding and I can't believe that I hadn't visited all those years. I always love to explore new place especially nature diamonds like this one. The next time I will visit Zirou lake is gonna be summer for sure, so I have the chance to swim at this beautiful crystal water.
