Greek Orthodox Christians in Cuba / Monomad Challenge

Hello, community. How are you all?

These snapshots 📸 are my submission for the #monomad challenge by @monochromes and @brumest.

I had the opportunity to attend one of His Eminence Santiago’s visits to the Greek Orthodox Church of Cuba in Havana. Located at one end of the Mother Teresa of Calcutta Garden, behind the Convent of St. Francis of Assisi, the Orthodox Cathedral of St. Nicholas of Myra was consecrated on Sunday, January 25, 2004, by His All-Holiness Bartholomew, Ecumenical Patriarch. Present at the ceremony was Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, who had previously visited the Convent of San Salvador de Santa Brígida—inaugurated in his presence on March 8, 2003—and laid a bouquet of flowers next to the statue of Mother Teresa of Calcutta that stands at the entrance to the garden bearing her name.
