"Flowers for you" the lil girl said and his heart melted.

I'm almost always fascinated by flowers and everything that blooms, weeds included. Well, they are flowers too when you take a closer look. They have their own beauty which many tend to NOT see.

And do you ever wonder why flowers bloom?

If you do, what comes to your mind as an answer?

To add more to life's joy and give more grace, beauty and colors to our world? Is it to make our soul feel warmer? To make a celebration more vibrant or it is a way for one to show romantic affection to another person? Or perhaps to give comfort to those who are mourning or to show that we still remember those who have departed?

But did you ever think outside of such a box and realize that flowers bloom because it's their nature and they have a crucial role to play in our ecosystem? They bloom to feed other living organisms and in turn they get pollinated, hence reproduce?

Flowers bloom in different seasons, many open up in spring, others during fall and some in the summer. It's pretty amazing, ain't it? And can you imagine a world without flowers? I simply can't, to be honest.

Anyway, these pictures were by the husband. He photographed them yesterday when he was asked to drive the young couple to the hospital. They were checking in early because the baby is said to be due to come out on April 2nd. Being their first, they wanted to be prepared and not cram when the time comes. I must say it's a very smart decision.

The blooms are mostly common Zinnias and I learned that these types of plants have quite a lot of symbolism or meaning in the language of flowers. It is said that they represent celebration of friendship, reunion, daily remembrance, nostalgia, endurance, honor, strength, tenacity, tribute, and lasting emotion and affection or I say, love.

Sweet! I've never received any Zinnia yet! And if there were bouquets I've got in this lifetime, they were mostly roses!

The beauty of flowers is really beautiful, represents love and is the best symbol that is displayed in the program, no matter how small or large, can not be lacking in any program, without flowers, it will lose its beauty.
