Better in Colors

In between listening to music, threading, engaging here on Hive, playing Rising Star, searching for audiobooks, and Xploring (yes I'm still multi-tasking, lol), I was editing some photos trying to come up with something new or interesting but ended up with the black and white versions of these photographs instead.

I found out that it is quite therapeutic to play around with photos, doing some edits and manipulating colors then reverting them back to their original versions. It's fun even when the photo editing application on my computer is limited in features. I didn't feel the need to download any other app nor use AI tools although I know they can greatly enhance the editing experience. Guess I'm just being careful. I'm feeling paranoid after recently discovering that some apps on my phone were stalking almost everything I do which made me really freak out.

Anyway, there's nothing special about these edits as they are the most basic yet they kind of made me realize that I still prefer their colored versions. There are some captures that look great in monochromatic tones but for these, I feel they are better in colors.

These captures were of the husband by the way, which he took during his trip to the nation's capital (Manila) sometime in November last year. Although he stopped Hiving due to his real life commitments, he still takes photographs and let me use them.

It's Wednesday here, mid-week already, whew! Was supposed to go on a planned walk to the woods with the husband but had to postpone it. It's funny that whilst I was raving about summer, temperature suddenly dropped to 10° Celsius which made the indoors more appealing than going out.

Perhaps it gets warmer tomorrow? Hoping so but until then, let me make good of today and have a blast. And yes, Happy International Women's Day!
