All beautiful handmade paintings created by talented rural artisans who have learned this traditional art through generations. you will love our collection of authentic Madhubani (Mithila) paintings. Each artwork is carefully handpainted on handmade paper or canvas.
If you are an art lover, you will appreciate the rich history and culture reflected in every painting. Our collection includes traditional Mithila artworks featuring themes from daily village life, mythology and nature. You will also find paintings inspired by Vastu Shastra such as the Tree of Life, birds, fish and other symbolic designs believed to bring positivity and harmony to your home.
In addition to paintings, we also offer beautiful sarees hand-painted with authentic Madhubani designs, making each piece unique and wearable art.
Nowdays the demand for Madhubani paintings is growing not only in India but all over the world. Art lovers appreciate the intricate details, vibrant colors and cultural significance of this traditional Indian folk art.
We started this venture to support talented rural artisans who come from economically challenged families but possess exceptional artistic skills. They create beautiful paintings on paper, sarees, wooden products, purses and many other handcrafted items using traditional techniques passed down through generations.
As we are currently in the early stages of our journey, our focus is on promoting these handcrafted products while supporting the artisans who create them. We are proud to share that we donate an additional 15% of our earnings to our rural artisans as a bonus. We want to help improve their lives and encourage them to continue preserving this beautiful art. For us this is not just a business, it is a social initiative and we hope to bring these wonderful handmade creations to people around the world.
You can see images of three talented artisans doing painting over sarees on the main banner of our website Siddhidatri.com.
We have also connected with an NGO that helps children learn traditional Madhubani painting while providing them with opportunities to earn through their artwork. We have arranged painting kits for some of these children so they can continue learning without colors. Our support is currently limited because we are still on a baby phase of startup but we are doing whatever we can. You can find my las blog post at starting of the blog that i am getting painting from NGO.
This is my first time building a website. I had no previous experience in website development but with the help of AI I have been learning and improving it every day.
We also accept custom painting orders. One important thing to understand is that handmade paintings can never be an exact copy of a reference image. If you provide a sample the final artwork will usually resemble it by around 70β80% while still reflecting the artist's own creativity and style. In several custom orders customers simply shared a theme or a sample painting and our artisans created beautiful original artwork inspired by those ideas. The customers were delighted with the final results.
We will continue introducing new handmade products through future blogs.
At present, we ship world wide unframed paintings. Framed paintings are not yet fesible for delivery.
Collage is made with the help of Chatgpt and images taken from own website siddhidatri.com*
