Wood Patterned Mushroom

Ganoderma applanatum, is one of the many types of mushrooms that exist in nature. The texture is hard and has a pattern resembling a wood motif, the characteristic of a mushroom that I found a few days ago.

This type of mushroom I chose for my contribution to today's #FungiFriday, hosted by @ewkaw. Here are some shots from my camera of this type of mushroom:

This fungus makes use of tree logs that have fallen to make its homes. At that time, the presence of mushrooms almost escaped my sight. because several other types of mushrooms blend with the color of the wood.
