Hola a todos, me alegra saludarlos por primera vez éste año... Espero que estén teniendo un buen inicio de año junto a sus peluditos y sus no tan peluditos. Por mi parte, el año terminó un poco caótico con mi gato Cindirello, justo el dia 31 de diciembre tuvimos que llevarlo a el veterinario por una herida en su patita que se le había puesto un poco mala.

Hace unos días vi que tenia una herida en su patita trasera derecha, pensé que alguien le había hecho algún daño, pero cuando revisé su patita esa opción era imposible, ya que tenia un corte en un dedo de la pata trasera, creí que era una cuestión de días así que no lo molesté mucho, el sábado pasado ocurrió un accidente, mi cuñada lo piso accidentalmente justo en la patita donde tenia la herida, el salió a esconderse y no lo encontraba, al día siguiente justo el 31 de diciembre tenía la patita súper hinchada y yo sentía que me iba a morir, pensé lo peor, que iba a perder la pata, iba a morir entre otras cosas, junto a mi novio buscamos una veterinaria para llevarlo porque yo estaba ya llorando de la preocupación y sentía que me iba a desmayar, me sentía muy culpable de lo que le estaba pasando.

A few days ago I saw that he had a wound on his right hind paw, I thought that someone had hurt him, but when I checked his paw that option was impossible, since he had a cut on a toe of the hind paw, I thought it was a matter of days so I did not bother him much, last Saturday an accident happened, my sister in law accidentally stepped on him right on the paw where he had the wound, He went out to hide and I could not find him, the next day just on December 31st his paw was super swollen and I felt that I was going to die, I thought the worst, that he was going to lose his paw, he was going to die among other things, together with my boyfriend we looked for a veterinarian to take him because I was already crying with worry and I felt that I was going to faint, I felt very guilty of what was happening to him.

Era un día difícil, ya saben, un domingo y sobretodo un 31 de diciembre, pero pudimos tener una cita, me calme cuando nos dijeron que no era tan grave la situación pero, posiblemente iba a perder el dedo (el que tiene la herida) así que nos citó para el día martes 2 de enero (justamente hoy al momento en que estoy escribiendo ésto) para ver como evolucionaba y si habia que cortarle el dedo, yo me preparé mentalmente para lo peor pero sinceramente prefería que perdiera el dedo a perderlo a él. Esa mañana del 31 de diciembre fue súper traumática y estresante para nosotros, incluso nos quedamos sin nada de dinero porque pagamos la consulta y algunas medicinas que no fueron nada baratas.

It was a difficult day, you know, a Sunday and above all on December 31st, but we were able to have an appointment, I calmed down when they told us that the situation was not so serious but, possibly he was going to lose his finger (the one with the wound) so he gave us an appointment for Tuesday January 2nd (just today at the time I am writing this) to see how he evolved and if we had to cut his finger, I prepared myself mentally for the worst but sincerely I preferred him to lose his finger than to lose him. That morning of December 31st was super traumatic and stressful for us, we were even left without any money because we paid for the consultation and some medicines that were not cheap at all.

Hoy en la mañana lo llevé a consulta ya mentalizada a que iba a perder el dedo, pero no fue así, su dedo esta bastante bien, solo necesita algunos días para recuperarse y medicamentos, también tengo que limpirale su herida regularmente.

Realmente han sido unos días muy estresantes para mi, he estado muy preocupada por Cindirello, afortunadamente no va a perder la pata y voy a cuidarlo diligentemente y pronto volveré para traerles noticias de él, afortunadamente el último día del año terminó bien, realmente sentía que iba a morir de la preocupación 😅 es mi primera vez teniendo gatos que alguno se hace una herida así.
