¡Documental los lugares que visitamos es una muy buena opción! No soy un experto haciendo fotografías, pero me gusta mucho tomar imágenes de los lugares que visito y que, de alguna forma, me trasmiten un mensaje. Recientemente, visité una zona de campo ubicada en el municipio San Juan y Martínez, en Pinar del Río, Cuba, tierra en la que crecí y viví muchos años.

Esta fue la primera visita del año. Me gusta mucho caminar por el campo y ver los sembrados de tabaco y frijoles, típicos de esta zona en esta época del año, de alguna forma me recuerda mi infancia y aquellos tiempos en los que ayudaba a mi padre con las labores agrícolas.

Hacía dos años que no se hacían estas plantaciones, después de los daños ocasionados con el paso del Huracán Ián por Cuba y específicamente por esta zona, los campesinos no se habían podido recuperar para retomar la siembra.

Pasamos un buen día, realizamos un pequeño recorrido por el barrio, visitando la familia y nos encontramos con este gatico bello que les muestro en la foto. Regresamos en la tarde, cuando el sol casi se situaba en el horizonte.

Documenting the places we visit is a very good option! I am not an expert in photography, but I really like to take pictures of the places I visit and that somehow transmit a message to me. I recently visited a countryside area located in the municipality of San Juan y Martinez, in Pinar del Rio, Cuba, land where I grew up and lived for many years.

This was the first visit of the year. I really like walking through the countryside and seeing the tobacco and bean fields, typical of this area at this time of the year, somehow it reminds me of my childhood and those times when I helped my father with the agricultural work.

It had been two years since these plantations were made, after the damage caused by Hurricane Ivan in Cuba and specifically in this area, the farmers had not been able to recover to resume planting.
We spent a good day, we made a small tour of the neighborhood, visiting the family and we met this beautiful kitten that I show you in the photo. We returned in the afternoon, when the sun was almost on the horizon.
