ASEAN Hive Challenge "Photography | Goin' Green:” Claveria
(Edited)
It was last year when we traveled to Bukidnon, but these pictures I’m gonna share are when we dropped by Claveria of Gingoog, Misamis Oriental. Driving in a car from my place in Butuan City to Claveria is 1 hour and 35 minutes about 80.6 kilometers away. Riding in a bus costs 200 pesos from Butuan to the Gingoog terminal, excluding the fare to the beautiful spot of Claveria. There are four ways to travel going there. Through bus, car, motorcycle and taxi. If you wanna spend less without many companions, the motorcycle is the best way. If you wanna arrive at the place faster than riding at a bus stop, choose a taxi. If you wanna spend less than the rent of a taxi, choose a private car or van. There are many beautiful spots in Claveria, but we just passed by because our main destination was Bukidnon.
In the picture are my older sister and nephew who were in awe of the mountain view. It is a place full of green. The forest remains abundant in the trees viewing from above. If you’re afraid of heights but like a challenge, this is a perfect place to find yourself. Staying there even for a few minutes is like we are isolated from toxicity and stress.
Every traveler that goes to Cagayan de Oro, Iligan, and Bukidnon likes to drop by the Viewdeck of Claveria. From the highway inside the car, we can see the height. The land is a steep slope that seems dangerous for toddlers and drunken men. While overlooking from the top, below is the river that I failed to take a picture of because we can only see it through a telescope.
The landscape has seats to relax. There is a huge manmade frame made of trees great for taking pictures. It is my grandpa in a silhouette because it is against the light, but it highlights the seats, the beautiful skies, and a foggy mountain.
My cousin was excited to have a picture while she sat down on the tree fence. In just one mistake of walking, she might fall into the river as it has an inclined landscape. We can also view the foggy mountain.
My family enjoyed the view. Behind them is a restaurant that serves Filipino food of course.
We were eighteen people that traveled to Manolo, Fortich of Bukidnon from Butuan city, dropped down at Claveria ‘till we arrived. Our family friend offered her car for free, so it was our great togetherness because we weren’t out of budget. If we rented the car for three days, we would pay 12,000 pesos or 300 dollars excluding the gas.The picture above is the view of the entrance passage to Dahilayan Adventures Park. We waited for the cabin’s owner to entertain us as we paid already at bookings dot com.
The big parking lot awaits every traveler while pine trees are side by

It's a breathtaking panoramic vista. I was a child when my family and I visited Manolo Fortich, as my grandparents lived in Del Monte at the time. I adore those Hydrangeas on the slope where your cousin rests elegantly on a tree fence.💕🌷 That was clever, huh?😬🥶
Extremely nice view. Hope the air is cooling as well.
