Wednesday Walk: Capturing Oriental Chinese New Year decorations

Recently, I bought second hand books from a seller and she preferred meeting up than doing delivery. She chose this mall as our meet-up point — The Gardens Mall. Since I had not seen the Chinese New Year decoration there, so I agreed for the meeting up. Because of the meeting up, I could walk around the mall and captured all these to be included in #WednesdayWalk. Yayyyy!!!

Chinese New Year Deco at The Gardens

Upon reaching the floor via escalator, I saw many Chinese New Year decoration at every corner. Then, I found out there was a contest going on, whereby you could dress up in your oriental-theme and then took a photo with any of the CNY corners here to be entitled a win. No wonder there were so many people with their oriental wear taking photos at every corner.

Once of them was the most crowded, the one with peacock stature. It was a beautiful corner. I got to see different poses from all the people on that day.

Myself also selfie with the peacock, the famous one. #makemesmile

Most corners had super beautiful oriental Chinese setting, with expensive Chinese vases as deco, furnitures for people to sit on, lanterns, old wardrobe or shelves, beautiful floor mat and pillows, as well as Sakura flowers and other flowers. You may take your time to view the photos below.

There was a corner more special than the other, but I did not get to take a nice angle of it because too many people were queueing for it. A dinner table with full proper set up, those high class setting, maybe the dynasty style, not too sure. But that corner was magnificent. I took from the rear view first.

Later on, I walked back here again to find out it was clear, so I got to take from the front.

There were some wall-like canvas painting. And many people posed there for photos. By this time, I was running out of time, so kind of rushing already.

The center of the mall looked fairly simple like this.

As I began to walk to the direction of my car park, I saw this huge TV, and two ladies was dancing in front of it for their TiK Tok. I waited for awhile before captured this photo.

I managed to capture some Chinese New Year decoration hanging on top. Literally, below were my few of the decorations. I really did not have time to find proper angle anymore. Needed to rush back before the traffic jam built up.

This was how the entrance/exit door area looked like.

And there was one decoration of flowers too before I entered the car park area.

That was my walk at The Gardens Mall to enjoy all the oriental Chinese New Year decorations. Thank you, @tattoodjay for creating this community, #WednesdayWalk, for a space to blog and to share my walk, and also #makemesmile by @elizacheng to make myself smile or other people smile. 😊
