We will always walk here at East Lake Broadway of Titiwangsa Lake Park to check out our turtles which we released them here last year.

Big swing and the boys just enjoyed being swung by me. Simple things like this made them happy.

It was an impromptu evening when I suddenly felt like going to a park. Coincidentally, the eldest son came back from school with no homework because it was going to be Chinese New Year holiday soon. The weather also sided my desire, so without any hesitation, we went.

Titiwangsa Lake Park

In total, Titiwangsa Lake Park is over 95 hectares, including the 57-hectare lake. It was very huge place and up till today, I still have not successfully walk the whole place at one sitting. Whenever I went with the boys, we covered only one area. The last we were here, we covered wet area. This round, we just wanted to have a walk and husband wanted to have some run, and we aimed to walk at another side of the park, at the same time checking out the bicycles for future plans.

We still parked at our usual place towards the East Lake, so that we could walk past the broadwalk area looking over the huge lake, to see our turtles since we last released them here. Now, there are more turtles than last year, we could not recognise our Torti and Lorki anymore. They all looked the same to us.

We walked towards the West Lake and somehow ended in the middle where there was a pond with a lot of lily pads and rocks and a mini man-made rock garden with mini waterfall. We were here for quite some time, just taking it slow while admiring the sound of water and the greens.

Then, we walked toward the West Lake Broadway, looking at the fountain in the center of the lake. I saw something which looked like 'basketball hoop' but on water and asked husband what was that. I suddenly forgot what was his reply. But it was a competition on water which involved ball too. It was a beautiful lake. So peaceful. It calmed my soul.

After that we walked towards where open court was and saw a group of people playing frisbee. We just found out that there was this huge area for playing frisbee and in the future, we will take our frisbee and scooters and basketballs too. We sat down at the side of the court to eat some snacks while just enjoying looking around, the husband went for a run by himself.

While the boys were eating their snacks, I went to have a walk to check out what food and cafes we had here. Found out a cafe called 'White and Black' Lakeside but the price of food are not cheap. So, we did not dine here. Nearby this cafe, there was an small area for scooting and roller blade activities too.

After snack, the boys were pumped up and decided to go to the playground. We super loved the playground here and it had many things to play. I had written on the playground before, so for this round, I did not take a lot of photos, and just enjoying the moment with the children.

It was almost dinner time, we all got hungry, so we walked back all the way to East Lake where our car was parked. We went back to our area and had our dinner at one of the local cafeteria. Cheap and delicious food. It was a great evening indeed. I wished every evening was like that — just chilling and relaxing.
