The Short Walk, The Long Impact

Hello to my fellow Hivers! Happy Wednesday to all! This is Miss Geneveve again, and let me share with you how my usual days be like through a short walk, a long impact in my life.

Since I was a high school student until I became a Teacher in my town, this path has been my constant progression to my workstation. Through rain or blazing heat, this path remains my constant, just like my journey as a student, guiding me step by step until I finally walk it as an Educator in my alma matter.

Today, I walk alongside with my students, seeing my reflections of myself in them as they take each forward the milestone that will lead them to their dreams.

Walking along this path, I can see the transformation of our school, from a simple structure and few buildings to a more developed and improved one. I can still remember my memories of running around this pathway when I was a high school student.

This is the "Libo-o Hill" in our town. This become a landmark of our school. This is my view at the front of our school. Libo-o Hill serves my memory lane, quietly witnessing the struggles I faced as a student in the past.

The walk from my home to my work station is a short distance, but it carries a long lasting impact on my daily life. Each step becomes a moment of reflection, a pause between the comfort of home and responsibilities ahead. It is more than jus a walk, but it serves as a daily reminder of myself how I conquer my dream through ups and down through walking this memory lane.
