Crocs || Creativity starts from simple things || my first Monomad Challenge

Hello everyone, It's me here, and I'm very happy to see everyone 👋. It's certainly my first time here. A certain someone motivated me with his picture yesterday, and I'll tell you about it vividly.

I know competitions existed in different hive communities, which have lasted for a long time, and I've taken notice of them. One of the contests is in this community, @blackandwhite. I'm someone who loves pictures, so I follow a lot of people posting in this community and other photographic communities.

Recently, I've been checking different pictures talking about their input to this contest, but yesterday, when I checked the post by @wilfredocav (reposted by Dimacastillo) talking about his cats, I was very inspired. But I have my first problem: I don't know how to take white and black pictures. I have a Samsung Galaxy A12, so I think that my phone can still take some quality pictures at least, so I went to YouTube and searched for how to take white and black pictures with one. After much stress of searching, I found a 1-minute video explaining about one. After finishing the video, I felt very excited to try it. I was searching for something to test my new skill; luckily, I found my friend's crocs at the entrance of my room. I told myself, "Why not give it a go?". Of course, my first try wasn't very good, so I kept up and continued.

I tried to find the perfect angle until I was able to see one; since then, I have continued searching for a nicer angle till I am tired. then, I looked for a spot to look at the photo. Being my first time, my recycle bin was very full (that was indeed a hyperbole 😂😂😂) and I was able to take these pictures, so I decided to give it a go and join this contest from the start. From there, I'll be able to access myself and see how to improve myself.

Although it was a very interesting and wonderful encounter, it was still very stressful and frustrating for a first-timer. I wonder if that is what most newbies feel on their first try. So I decided to use this challenge to test myself, and I'll keep continuing to take good pictures till I'm good at least, and I'm very excited about what's to come. It's nice to be here and I'll be happy to be welcomed here. It was nice to meet you all.

That's the end of my post. All the pictures were taken by me. As simple as these pictures are, I hope they are something. I'm hoping to see your comments and corrections on my input, as I'm very eager to learn. Thanks for having me here 🙇🙇
