The aqueduct is located in the city of Segovia and is famous for its architectural structure, an extraordinary series of arches where people pose for impressive photos. This magnificent monument, declared a World Heritage Site, brought water to the city of Segovia for 2,000 years, ceasing its functions in 1973. It consists of 167 arches and its route for transporting water to the city was approximately 15 km long.
