Photo Contest Round 279 // The Neighborhood Pigeons [ENG-ESP]

Greetings, dear friends of feathered friends. I’m back to participate in Feathered Friends - Photo Contest, Round 279. I snapped a photo of some pigeons on the street where I live; they were eating, and one of them was lying on the asphalt, which was surely very hot from the intense sun that’s typical of our region.

As I was heading to work, I saw the pigeons and approached them very slowly. I found the scene endearing—seeing the pigeon lying there eating; she looked confident and comfortable as she enjoyed her lunch alongside her little sisters. My smartphone’s zoom doesn’t have much range, so to get slightly better pictures, I moved closer, and of course, they flew away.

I took these photos; I loved the first one I posted here—the dove was just taking flight—and that's why I chose it for this contest.

Saludos estimados amigos de amigos emplumados. Aquí estoy de vuelta para participar en Amigos emplumados - Concurso de fotos, ronda 279. Capturé a unas palomitas en la calle donde vivo, estaban comiendo, una de ellas estaba recostada en el asfalto que de seguro estaba muy caliente por ese sol intenso que caracteriza a nuestra región.

Cuando ya me iba a mi lugar de trabajo, vi a las palomas, me acerqué muy lento. Me pareció tierna la escena, ver a la paloma recostada comiendo, se veía confiada y cómoda mientras disfrutaba de su almuerzo junto a sus hermanitas. El zoom de mi Smartphone tiene poco alcance, así que para que las imágenes salieran un poco mejor, me acerqué más, y ellas por supuesto, volaron.

Las capturé, me encantó la primera foto que coloqué en esta publicación, la paloma apenas despegaba su vuelo, y por eso la elegí para este concurso.
Esta ha sido mi participación, espero les haya gustado, hasta la próxima.
