⚡ Free Charging at Netto – I Tried It Today

Am 5. und 6. Juni 2025 bietet Netto in Zusammenarbeit mit Vattenfall an ausgewählten Standorten in Deutschland kostenloses Laden an. Keine App, keine Karte, keine Anmeldung. Einfach einstecken und laden.

On June 5 and 6, 2025, Netto and Vattenfall are offering free EV charging at selected locations in Germany. No app, no card, no registration. Just plug in and charge.

Solche Aktionen sind selten und oft nur im Süden verfügbar. Umso überraschender: Auch Greifswald war diesmal dabei.

Campaigns like this are rare and often limited to southern Germany. But surprisingly, Greifswald was included this time.

Ich habe die Gelegenheit genutzt und bin mit meinem Ioniq 5 zu einem der Standorte gefahren, um es selbst auszuprobieren.

I took the opportunity and drove my Ioniq 5 to one of the locations to try it out myself.

🔌 A Little Surprise at the Charger

Zuerst sah es so aus, als wäre die Ladesäule defekt. Das Display war aus, der Not-Aus-Schalter gedrückt. Doch auf dem Bildschirm erschien der Hinweis: „Not-Aus entriegeln“.

At first, it looked like the station was broken. The display was off, and the emergency stop button was pressed. But then a message appeared: “Release emergency stop.”

Ich habe den Schalter entriegelt. Das Display erwachte zum Leben, und ich steckte den CCS-Stecker ein.
Ohne App, ohne Karte – der Ladevorgang startete sofort.

I released the button, the screen came to life, and I plugged in the CCS cable.
No app, no card – charging started immediately.
