Am 5. und 6. Juni 2025 bieten Netto und Vattenfall an ausgewählten Filialen in Deutschland kostenloses Laden für Elektroautos an – ohne App, ohne Anmeldung, ohne Ladekarte. Einfach das Kabel einstecken, fertig.

Das klingt im ersten Moment fast zu schön, um wahr zu sein. Schließlich ist man als E-Auto-Fahrer eher daran gewöhnt, sich durch Tarifdschungel, Blockiergebühren und Apps zu kämpfen. Deshalb war ich skeptisch – vor allem, ob auch Standorte im Norden dabei sind oder wieder nur die übliche Schiene Süd-Bayern-Baden.

Und ich wurde überrascht: Auch in Greifswald nehmen zwei Standorte an der Aktion teil.

• Loitzer Landstraße 36a
  Schnelllader mit 2x CCS, je 120 kW
• Anklamer Straße 18
  Zwei Schnelllader mit je 2x CCS, ebenfalls 120 kW

Die Aktion läuft jeweils von 6:00 bis 22:00 Uhr, beide Tage.

On June 5 and 6, 2025, Netto and Vattenfall will offer free charging for EVs at selected Netto stores across Germany – no app, no registration, no RFID card. Just plug in and charge.

Sounds too good to be true? Normally, EV drivers are used to tariff chaos, block fees, and app madness. I had my doubts – especially whether the north of Germany would be included or if it’s another south-only campaign.

But surprise: Even in Greifswald, two Netto stores are part of the campaign.

  Fast charger with 2x CCS, 120 kW each
• Anklamer Straße 18
  Two fast chargers, each with 2x CCS, also 120 kW

Charging available from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM on both days.

🤨 Bin ich jetzt ein Schmarotzer, nur weil ich kostenlos lade?

Solche Aktionen rufen regelmäßig Kritiker auf den Plan.
Kommentare wie „Wieder ein Geschenk für die E-Auto-Fahrer!“ oder „Warum zahle ich für Diesel und ihr kriegt Strom gratis?“ liest man oft.

Aber am Ende ist es eine Werbeaktion. Punkt.
Wie früher ein Grillwürstchen vorm Baumarkt oder der Rabatt an der Tankstelle – zeitlich begrenzt und für alle offen.

Fakt ist: Die meisten E-Auto-Fahrer zahlen sonst genug drauf. Wenn es dann mal zwei Tage ohne App und ohne Stress geht, nutze ich das gern. Warum nicht?

Let’s be real – promotions like this often spark criticism.
You’ll hear things like “EV drivers always get everything for free!” or “I pay for diesel, why don’t you pay for power?”

But in the end, it’s a marketing stunt. Period.
Like free samples or discounts at gas stations – limited time, open to anyone.

Most EV drivers usually pay extra. So if I get two stress-free days without apps or fees – I’ll take it.
