Not Your Usual

My year started off with me seeing a movie. I was at home with my family just like every other normal day just chilling and watching a movie on my sister's phone. Immediately it was 12am, we could hear everyone around shouting a Happy New year. My dad gathered us together to pray and sing to thank God for we to see a brand new year.

We were up until it was few minutes past 3am before we slept. I woke up quite late because I had no plans for that day, just stay at home, eat and rest. We didn't even cook anything special, we actually ate noodles with fried eggs. My sister and I went outside to sit to take more vent and we kept seeing so many people pass by on their way to enjoy, hehe.

I wasn't moved at all, I just loved how I was feeling and going out was just not part of the plan at all. Although we thought about going out but then we just preferred to stay at home instead. I just kept pressing my phone, chatting on discord and engaging on hive.

The time just kept passing by and then my sister got a call from a friend who asked us to go over to her place. At first we were not so happy we would be leaving the house but then we had to because we didn't want her to feel bad. We got ready, just my sister and I since my brother wasn't interested in going with us.

We had to trek to a distance before entering a bike since the sun was not so high. That visit to our friend's place happened to be my first time to her place since her and her family moved. She was so happy to see us that she even lifted me up, lol. She invited us in and it wasn't even up to 2 minutes, she brought food and drinks for us to enjoy ourselves.

I wasn't feeling so hungry but then I had to force myself to finish the food she gave to me so it won't go to waste. After eating I felt so full, so while sitting, I asked my friend for her phone so I could take some really good images for my blogs, just some random images. When I took the first shot, I was so impressed with the outcome and that made me find more interest in taking more photos.

I went outside her house and take some more random images and after some time I had to stop so we could go home since it was already getting late. Her mother came home and told us of what happened to a sister who was living close by and we all had to go visit her to greet her. Her house was just few blocks away from my friend's house so we just walked down even as we chatted about some random things, hehe.

After visiting her, my sister and I went home from there. We decided to also walk back home since that felt like a good idea. While we were walking, we saw another lady we know who was at her shop. We were surprised to see her because it was just the first day of the year and she was supposed to be at home or something but I guess she took that day as every other day too.

We patronized her and she gave us really cool discount and that made us really happy. We continued on our journey chatting about how our day went well thanks to our friend who asked us to come over. When we got home we just took our bath and got ready to sleep after doing some of the things we needed to do online.

My day was not so like every other day but then it wasn't as if we had any special plans for the first day of the year, we just let everything play out on it's own and it was a memorable one for me. But from everything that happened that day, the best part for me was the part where I got to snap really beautiful pictures, hehe.
