We celebrate the day of the Patroness of Eastern Venezuela "La Vírgen del Valle"//Celebramos el día de la Patrona del Oriente de Venezuela "La Vírgen del Valle"

Yesterday September 8, we celebrated throughout Eastern Venezuela (although also in almost the entire country and outside our borders) for many years with this tradition with which we honor Our Patroness "The Virgin of the Valley" in different ways but the most common are to take them out in a procession, throw them a birthday party with cake and all the other details.

El día de ayer 8 de Septiembre celebramos en todo el Oriente de Venezuela (aunque también en casi todo el país y fuera de nuestras fronteras) son muchos años con esta tradición con la cuál honramos a Nuestra Patrona "La Vírgen del Valle" de distintas formas pero las más comunes son sacarlas en procesión, realizarle una fiesta de cumpleaños con torta y todo el resto de detalles.

Although the area where I live is relatively small, with just over 300 inhabitants on these dates, we try to unite everyone and make the best possible entertainment where both the youngest and the adults can enjoy. For climatic reasons and to avoid the extreme heat of these last few weeks, the meeting was moved to the afternoon starting almost at 6 P.M. As you can see in the photographs, a large number of people came and chairs were placed for the rosary to be performed in name of the "Virgin of the Valley".

Aunque el sector dónde vivo es relativamente pequeño poco más de 300 habitantes en estás fechas tratamos de unirnos todos y realizar el mejor agasajo posible dónde disfruten tanto los más jóvenes así cómo los adultos. Por razones climáticas y evitando el calor extremo de estás últimas semanas la reunión se movió para la hora de la tarde empezando casi a las 6 P.M cómo pueden ver en las fotografías acudieron una gran cantidad de personas y se colocaron sillas para la realización del rosario en nombre de la "Vírgen del Valle".

Later we continued with the house-to-house procession and as you can see it was already dark, after a few minutes we returned to the Chapel where we started and then sang his birthday and distributed it to those present. It was incredible to actively participate in this celebration again and I hope to continue doing so for many more years. Greetings Hivers friends and I love being able to share a little not only of the culture of our country but of the entire East of it.

Posteriormente continuamos con la procesión casa por casa y cómo se observa ya estaba de noche, luego de unos minutos volvimos a la Capilla de dónde empezamos para después cantarle su cumpleaños y repartirla con los presentes. Fué increíble volver a participar activamente en dicha celebración y espero el poder seguir haciéndolo por muchos años más.
