Lifescape photography contest: Black Is Beautiful
Overtime i have come to develop my likeness for the color black and I have tones of reason why....
Before now, black was synonymous with sorrow. mourning, darkness, void and a lot of other meaning characteris by event, circumstances, mood etc...
I was discussing with a friend as to why Black is my favorite color and he almost rebuked me, analyzing the already known meanings ascribe to black as I have mentioned and I just laughed....
To me black is not just a color, there's more to it, Black is magic, black commands respect, quietness, nobility, black to me is a state of the mind were is just calm amd quiet, black is intensed moment of deep concentration void of distractions, I see other colors to mean noise and distractions shifting the mind to wander off...
Especially when it comes to outfit I would prefer black to any color, you see black is like saying I'm determined poised on my decision, its that feeling of nobility amd strength I like whenever I am on black, I love it so much.
Then again I love the dark, the nights, the blackness of everywhere, the calm peaceful comfort serenity of the whole place when its dark, and I'm on my phone, or watching TV it sharpens my view and makes the display more vibrant and illuminating.
The night became my companion, away from the noise and distractions of the whole place, when its dark and the whole place is quiet every body is asleep, its just me and the night is still and quiet,, I get to reflect, ponder on things better and I get better clarity, I'm better focus and I can deduce perfectly what I want to do next.
Black has a lot of role to play in almost everything we do, black brings out the beauty in everything, its like the base of everything, the backbone the strength of everything lies on it.
The lights shines brighter in the dark, we appreciate colors better when the background is black, the feeling is different when the room is dark, when the blinds are down, stepping out in all black singles you out of the crowd, right now my phone is set to dark mode, dark privacy screen guard and I love it, black is just uniquely different
