Plaza Mayor representa una fuerte estructura que rodea los canales de la ciudad, dando vista a conjuntos de lujo, esto permitió que su vida comercial se incrementará fácilmente, además de contar con tiendas, también impacta por su parque de atracciones, lugar en el cual se guardan muchas anécdotas.

Plaza Mayor está conformado por 6 edificaciones de solo dos plantas, las cuales son unidas por puentes y escaleras, también se encuentra al aire libre, dándole un toque caribeño a sus instalaciones. Este Centro Comercial fue mencionado en el Catálogo del Patrimonio Cultural Venezolano 2004-2009, siendo considerado uno de los lugares más visitados en la pequeña ciudad de Lechería.
