Photography of Queen of the night Flowers.
Good evening to all my dear Hive friends,
Today, I want to tell you about a truly special and enchanting flower. Though it blooms only for a brief moment each year and withers away within a single day, its fragrance, unmatched beauty, and the magical way it reveals itself have made it very dear to my heart.
This flower is famously known as the "Queen of the Night."
This morning, the flower in my garden was getting ready to bloom.
Although once considered nearly extinct in the country, it has now become a cultivated plant that can be carefully grown and nurtured again.
From early morning, I closely observed it until the very moment it fully bloomed. This flower doesn’t reveal its true beauty during the day—it chooses the calmness of night to unveil its captivating charm.
Today at dawn, I captured this photograph.
I had my phone camera ready and waited for the night to fall. At every passing moment, I kept thinking, "Any time now, it will reveal itself." Its pure white petals, unfolding like the calm of Nirvana, and the gentle fragrance that lingered in the still air—none of it let me turn away.
In that moment, I began to feel a deep, tranquil peace within me—something almost spiritual, as if touched by serenity itself.
This flower wasn't just a bloom in my garden—it was a gentle adornment to my heart on a peaceful night. The "Queen of the Night" blossoms only after nightfall and fades away by dawn.
That fleeting moment of bloom makes witnessing it—and capturing it in a photograph—a truly special experience. To see such a rare flower bloom in my own garden filled me with immense joy. It felt like a quiet miracle under the moonlight.
Thank you reading
Have A nice day.
Best Regards,
Samadi Madushanki .
Amazing photography dear

What a wonderful flower, a real queen, closed and opened! Interesting that it blooms only at nights. And you write the fragrance is also very enchanting? 😍
Yes, it's truly a magical flower! 🌸 Often called the "Queen of the Night," it only blooms once in a while, and usually at night—adding to its mystery. And yes, its fragrance is incredibly sweet and captivating, filling the air with a gentle, soothing scent. A real natural wonder! 😍
