Nature – The Powerful Teacher That Reminds Us Who We Are
Good Morning hive friends,
Sri Lanka is currently experiencing a severe natural disaster. Heavy rains, storms, and floods have caused massive destruction across the country. Many lives have been lost, numerous homes have been destroyed, and thousands of people have been left helpless. In moments like these, nature reminds us of a powerful truth—we are much lager than we think.

Nature cannot always be predicted or controlled. At times, it brings us beauty, peace, and joy. Yet, within a single moment, it can bring sorrow and destruction. This disaster reminded me once again how important it is to respect nature, understand its patterns, and live in harmony with it.

To me, nature is something I deeply love. It constantly inspires me. The trees, mountains, rivers, animals, and the entire natural world are like gentle teachers who show me the meaning of life. However, as I watch our motherland struggle under floods and landslides, I am reminded of an important question—do we truly respect nature enough?

The trees we cut, the lands we destroy, the rivers we pollute—eventually, all these actions return to us. Today, many families are without homes, lacking food, water, and safety. This disaster is not nature’s anger—it is nature teaching us consequences.

From today onwards, we must respect nature more. Protect it. Learn to manage it wisely. We must remember that the same nature that gives us life can take it away in a single moment.

In the end, I believe that living in harmony with nature will give us a stronger country, safer communities, and a hopeful future.
Thank you reading,
Have A nice day.
Best Regards,
Samadi Madushanki .
