A lifestyle related to the environment, things felt today.
Today, as I walked through my green surroundings, I felt a deep sense of connection. The experience reminded me why I choose to live an eco-friendly lifestyle. It's not just about reducing waste or conserving water – it's about learning to see and appreciate the small wonders that nature offers us every day.
During my walk, I observed several captivating sights that made me pause and reflect. Beautiful mushrooms had emerged from the moist soil after the recent rain, their umbrella-like shapes appearing almost magical. Nearby, I noticed a few blooming anthuriums, their deep red spots and glossy texture standing out vibrantly. A few snails slowly made their way across the damp leaves, reminding me of nature’s unhurried pace – so different from the rush of modern life. Overhead, passion fruit vines had begun to blossom, their sweet fragrance gently carried by the breeze.
All these little details I took the time to photograph filled me with a deep sense of gratitude. They made me reflect on the way I choose to live. When I grow my own food, avoid harmful chemicals, reuse resources, or support organic practices, it is because I want to help protect this beauty.
Living close to nature teaches you how everything is connected. Mushrooms break down decaying matter, snails aerate the soil, anthuriums add color and life to the landscape, and passion fruits offer nourishment. In return, I feel a responsibility—to walk lightly and with reverence.
Some may think that living green is difficult, but I believe it begins with awareness. Once you’ve truly seen the beauty of the Earth, choosing to live sustainably feels natural. It becomes not a burden, but a joy. Today was one of those days when nature spoke gently, reminding me that every effort is worth it.
