For over a month we have been using the game 'Tenteges' during our Polish-Ukrainian lessons. This is @hallmann's original idea, which has been tested and improved by our team of volunteers.

The game involves arranging sentences using cards. The effect usually sounds quite absurd, which makes it a lot of fun. An important aspect of the game is practising the conjugation of nouns by cases. This is one of the most difficult parts of learning Polish.

However, we did not stop there. At the end of March, we also started using artificial intelligence in lessons. We type the sentences created during the game into the Chat GPT, asking it to form a story based on it. The results are usually very funny. The resulting text is then dictated to the class participants and is treated like a dictation. This allows the Ukrainian refugees to practise their writing as well.

And already on Monday we will start the 44th week of classes. We are pleased that we are not only continuing our lessons, but also constantly developing them. The results of this are very satisfying. Each week the participants in our classes speak better and better.

Od ponad miesiąca wykorzystujemy podczas naszych lekcji polsko-ukraińskich grę "Tenteges". Jest to autorski pomysł @hallmann'a, który został przetestowany i ulepszony przez nasz zespół wolontariuszy.

Gra polega na układaniu zdań za pomocą kart. Efekt zwykle brzmi dość absurdalnie, co sprawia, że jest przy tym sporo zabawy. Istotnym aspektem gry jest ćwiczenie odmiany rzeczowników przez przypadki. Jest to jeden z najtrudniejszych elementów nauki języka polskiego.

Na tym jednak nie poprzestaliśmy. Pod koniec marca zaczęliśmy wykorzystywać również sztuczną inteligencję podczas zajęć. Stworzone podczas gry zdania wpisujemy w Chat GPT prosząc, aby ułożył na jego podstawie jakąś historię. Efekty zwykle są bardzo zabawne. Powstały tekst jest następnie dyktowany uczestnikom zajęć i traktowany jest jak dyktando. Dzięki temu ukraińscy uchodźcy mogą ćwiczyć również pisanie.

A już w poniedziałek rozpoczniemy 44 tydzień zajęć. Cieszy nas, że nie tylko kontynuujemy nasze lekcje, ale również ciągle je rozwijamy. Efekty tego są bardzo satysfakcjonujące. Z każdym tygodniem uczestnicy naszych zajęć mówią coraz lepiej.
