Sucumbe la tarde, arropada de las voluminosas sombras, que llegan con sus ejércitos de macabros soldados, danzando al compás de la sinfonía del ocaso, para consumar sus fechorías eróticas con los cofrades de la indiferencia y el desamor. Las copas se levantan augurando, con vivas a la inevitable necedad de los narcisos; congregados en el insalubre trono de sus dientes infectados por la halitosis.

El inmenso rio, mansamente, se desliza con su vino santo, con el trepidar de relámpagos que anuncian la gentileza de la lluvia para descargar la abundante felicidad al torrente, nutriendo la tierra para que abunde el bienestar de la agricultura. El brazo fuerte y el sudor segreguen la esperanza de un amor bondadoso en las costas del Orinoco.

El dulce sabor de las uvas fluye en mi garganta. Tu recuerdo me asegura el porvenir con cuantiosos abrazos y persistentes besos. El Orinoco se transforma para multiplicarse en vino.

Puedo cantar el mejor joropo y guardar en mis tinajas, el abundante y consagrado vino del Orinoco.
