I visit the nursery.
On Saturday, I was happy to have breakfast with my dogs, Moru and Sansa. Moru didn't like bread; he just wanted to have breakfast with meat. Sansa did not miss the chance to eat bread. Soon a car parked in front of my house. It was Pedro, I invited him to visit Ascanio's nursery. I pick up my bag, close the door of the house and the gate, get into the car and we drive to the nursery, which is five kilometres away. It's a quarter to seven. We arrive at the nursery; the door is open. The owner is watering the plants.
— Good morning, I say hello.
— Come in. He greets us with a smile.
I start the tour of the organized nursery, I enter the orchid area, where twenty varieties of these exquisite plants are hung and placed on trunks. I take a tour of the desert rose (adenium obesum) area, which is his thriving enterprise. The dedication to cultivation in this nursery is extraordinary. The specific characteristic is the variety that is demonstrated by the diversity of flowers, as a product of the dedicated and delicate pollination that is generated by the cross-pollination of the pollen. The unique flowers of the desert roses are that each blooming brings new chromatics. Desert roses are mutants by nature.
At the moment, I spend my spare time learning about the art of gardening, especially these plants, which are delicate to cultivate. It is important to note that in this cultivation the caudex, i.e., the stems develop into expressive and robust forms, which are expressed as bonsai in the art of gardening.
The new visitor, Pedro, is surprised by the development of this nursery, he selects four plants to buy. We carry them to the cart.
The nursery has always been for me the place where I relax and relax. The place where I relax and distract myself with plants. It is the space to further my devotion to the plant world. At the moment he collects a pod of the plant, puts them in a container and gives us several seeds and a desert rose plant to Pedro.
We leave with the pleasure of visiting the temple of the divine plants. Peter is a young man devoted to gardening, so he is accumulating new desert rose plants. We bid farewell to the gardener Ascanio. We set off to the center of the city of Caicara del Orinoco, happy for the blessing received from the chromaticism of the desert roses, the orchids, and the calla; the cradle of Moses. I feel happy for this explosion of marvellous colours. I feel in the flow of natural life.
See you next weekend at the temple of the nursery.
Thank you for being kind enough to read my post.
You took very nice pictures and really visiting a nursery is quite relaxing, plus the air you breathe is divine.
